Thank you. I think it's because Devs are deeply informed by managers and execs you just look at snapshots of metrics. So the meta data they are reading isn't actually in a continuum unless they want massive amounts of data they would have to consider in tandem. Also, "fixing" one problem only to have to fix another thing leading to another thing needing attention is a very good way of ensuring job security.
