Imagine NOT being able to go back and watch Ironman 1, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1. You watched them when they came out that year, and that's it. Now they are gone, and all there exists is clips on the internet, but not the entire movies.
Now you only get to watch Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Avengers: Infinity War, Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder. How confusing to all the new people to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They are asking about the characters origin stories, but all we get is those of us that watched in that year it was out, and no one new can watch the older movies.
Relating to Destiny 2:
Who else wants to go back to go back to The Farm and goof around? Play Red War Campaign with Cayde-6 and his chicken? Fight in the streets below The Traveler to rescue it from Ghaul? Learn why Osiris is sleeping with Saint 14 watching over him? And wasnt Saint 14 dead at some point? Who is this Sloan character, why arent they around anymore?
So much D2 story is now only youtube videos.
I like to PLAY stories if I can, not just watch cutscene mashups or someone narrate the D2 story.
Make it optional DLC (for free) that can be removed later if wanted. I would like to start the story over with my brother, play co-op, like we did with the Halo series.
We can play MCC with nearly all the Halo games, but D2 we can only play the last couple years? So much story is missing!
Phase 2 would be to bring D1 in as well. Drag and drop that into D2 engine and add in the semi colons to fix the bugs.
Legendary Campaign D1 right into D2 would be so EPIC!
Just like in WC expansion's Legendary Campaign, force the light level down.
Even more epic would be to have 6 player Legendary Campaign!
Raids and Dungeons could be rotated so that each is available at least once a month, or Pinnacle rewards are only available on rotation for each, so that all R and D's are available all the time.
Same with the special missions like The Presage. What a unique experience that was playing it solo for the first play through!
Titan, Mercury, Venus, Io, Mars, Tangled Shore, Black Armory story, etc.

"We can't put more stuff in D2, the engine can't handle it" Well, if D2 is at capacity and no more can be added without removing stuff, you make D3, you don't steal D2 and replace it with D3. That way we can go back and play the game we paid for anytime we want. Like popping in D1. You can't Pop in OG D2 because 'the Darkness'*wink wink* stole those locations "That'd take up too much memory" B.S. D2's the only game I play, shouldn't I decide how much memory to use. It's simple, if memory limit is the problem, allow us to put things we're not playing into the 'DCV' and download the raid or raid lair we want to play. Would it be a pain to uninstall raids we're not using to install the raid we want to play? Absolutely! But it beats getting our stuff stolen, never to be played again, existing only in our memories. Finished Witch queen? Uninstall then install Forsaken Finish Forsaken? Uninstall Shadow Keep. Finish Shadow Keep? Uninstall Shadow Keep, install Beyond light. Pain in the butt, yep. But there is no memory issue if done this way. Memory issue is a lie, a made-up excuse to take away things you paid for to do, so now you have less to do, so they can keep you buying new stuff to do. As far as ToS 'agreement' You agree to let Bungie remove half the stuff you paid for, or you can refuse and aren't allowed to play anything you paid for. What a choice!
