Gm minimum light level is dumb
Like why? It's gonna be hard regardless so why not just let me do it at a lower light. It's not even like I'd want extra rewards for making it harder for myself (like how master raids give "better rewards than normal ones or how legendary nightfalls have worse loot than master ones). Its just annoying that im not gonna be able to play them not because im not a high enough skill level but because im not high enough light.

3 通の返信This is honestly the least of all the issues with this game. If you play casually every week, you'll be at level for GMs. However, server issues, cheating, RNG being the worst of any game to have random drops, etc etc is all much worse and more important.

4 通の返信The problem is your on this forum complaining which will get you NO WHERE !!!! You could of been doing pinnacles and getting your light level up and getting better. The reason there is a light level requirement is there are levels to this shat and if you can’t be bothered to even level up 15 light levels then you are not ready or worthy of GMs GMs are not for the week or the undisciplined GMs are not for everyone GMs are for the Gardians who are willing to put in the time and effort. GMs are the hardest content in the game made specifically to weed out week individuals like yourself Therefore GMs are doing exactly what they are designed to do !!!

2 通の返信Yo! You are not even close, so you have made no attempt to get ready to run GMs, but you are ready to cry on here. Zero effort put in, but you want a chance to get adept weapons? Not how it works, you want the good stuff out in the effort, or don’t, but don’t cry because only you are stopping you from being GM ready.

If it’s too high for you just do masters. They’re much easier and less “mechanical” (as in routine). It’s like anything else if you don’t put the time in you don’t get anything out. Not trying to be mean but theyre supposed to be close to hardest content in the game. Like going in to trials when your just not good.

2 通の返信I’d rather get better skill wise than grind for artifact power. There’s a reason I like souls borne type of games. I will beat my head against the wall until the wall comes down.

[b]yes, it sucks to be playtime gated behind an artifact level[/b] [b]fact: level cap for GM is 1595[/b] [b]ideally, in a perfect world where RNG doesn’t fold you each week, and you hit max gear rank with pinnacles, you would be at the level requirement upon hitting artifact level 15. Putting you EXACTLY where you need to be to play this content efficiently[/b] [u]while it’s not a matter of skill, as some players have played and completed this content [i]UNDER 1595[/i][/u] It’s best case scenario that you should be as close to 1595 as possible, thus, the level requirement is a good idea, a safeguard against those who would attempt it without being ready. [b][u]without the light safeguard, would we still be having this discussion? Or would this post be directed at the PVE elitists who are demanding players be at the light cap?[/u][/b]

I already gilded my title but still agree, since GM’s have the contest modifier active it is pointless to demand so many power levels every season for entering the activity, it wouldn’t hurt anyone if it was like 10-15 levels on top of the powerful cap instead of the 25 it is now. I hate the pinnacle grind in general and hope they remove it from the game, its like doing chores every season instead of actually playing what you want to play.

1 返信They take away power level in ib, gm is 20 higher, and regular pvp has no level advantage, kinda makes you wounder why we have a power level

Me and a buddy came to the same conclusion just make it the default hard cap for a given season your already set at a deficit regardless of what you go in with I think everyone overlooks the real point of the post lol

1 返信I'm of the opinion that GMNF's , Master raids, & Master Dungeons should just be a standard power level handicap regardless of your actual power level. We should be able to play hard endgame after hitting the power level cap set by the expansion. There's not enough content each season to warrant a power level grind each season.

4 通の返信They should do away with artifact light level. It just feels weird to power up and than your capped anyway. It's not that hard to achieve but im leveling up to be at a disadvantage anyway. Same for master raids just have em be higher than the light level you can actually achieve

2 通の返信IDK why it isn't challenge mode. Grinding pinnacle +15 every season just to access the best material farm in the game in what is essentially an overblown strike is ridiculous, and I have gilded Conqueror.

61 通の返信You had... not 1 nor 2 nor 3 nor 4 nor 5 but 6 WEEKS to get at least 1580 and +15 artifact power. Literally just do some seasonal challenges and that'll very quickly get you to the +15 artifact power and then just do KF and the other weekly +2 pinnacles and you'll be at 1580 in no time. Even if RNG is screwing you on pinnacles just do a bit more XP grinding to make up for the few points you are losing out on and you can then do GMs.

I am wore out on hoping if my time spent in an activity for a pinnacle is going to benefit me or not honestly. Getting something that doesn't benefit you after putting in the effort for it just doesn't feel rewarding. The powerful gear and prime engrams will give me something at my level already if i want infusion fuel. I just login now to have fun with my builds, weapons and space magic, it's more fun to me.
