Summary from an interview on july 15th with Mercules, a sandbox designer at bungie, in which he mentions that Divinity is on the radar for the sandbox team however at the time they had no plans to change it. Saltagreppo's twitter thread, which many ill informed people are blaming as the sole cause of the Divinity nerf, was on September 8th.
You can create conspiracies all you want but I dont think the evidence is there. Its easy to say Salt incited the nerf but theres no proof, and clearly they had already been looking at it even if they had no concrete actions planned yet. Logically it would make no sense for them to make such a quick and drastic change based on one twitter post, seems like a crazy tinfoil hat theory to me, but theres all the information.

1 返信Dude, you're like Tarzan swinging from vine to vine but instead of vines you're using greppos testies. *phallusRider*

1 返信They should leave him alone for a different reason. He did it for attention(like everything any given steamer does) and he is getting exactly what he wanted. Any press is good press. Well played sir. Best thing you can do is forget the guy exists.

Bungie has proven they are easily swayed by "Influencer" opinion , DMG even admitted that they changed Matchmaking to CBMM because of streamer influence , they conveniently make these changes after public rants from streamers And if Salt thinks the game is too easy, then why don't Clan Elesyium try to worlds first the lightfall raid with all blue weapons and armor , and abilities only with 6 Arc Warlocks

1 返信Man that dude is a waste, saw him win a dungeon once and after was calling for nerfs on Twitter cause he wanted it harder. Dude gets all the hate he deserves imo, and never watched the bum again.

3 通の返信You contradicted yourself. You provide proof of Bungie saying they had no plans of changing it... until Salt complained.

The2ndWaveにより編集済み: 10/8/2022 7:15:01 AMA new cover story has arisen, huh?… Welp, let’s clear things up. There was no announced plan to change Divinity before. If there was one and it was announced, streamers wouldn’t call it out again. The fact that streamers are the most informed about this game they live on tells you that they called it out based on their own interest and not from what was announced before. Nothing has been mentioned about changes in Divinity before the streamers called it out. If there was a plan before, then streamers would look dumb for calling it out again when there was supposed to be a proposed plan already announced. And we all know streamers wouldn’t want to be branded as dumb, right?…

Clearly he used Vex tech to go back in time, impersonate Mercules and set the whole thing in motion. Curse that rascally scallywag. Imma steal all his towels so he has to dry off with a flannel, that'll teach him.
