All PvP modes are generally competitive if you know the definition of the word. Too many just take control too serious.

I’d rather them be there in control than the glory playlist, where wins and losses actually matter. You can have more control over the game in 3’s if you’re truly a sweat and don’t want to lose, so I’d recommend just playing there. It suits your play style.
