Another Twab and no warlock announcements
It is honestly depressing No changes to the worst subclass in The game arc warlock does not work Void does exactly what arc is intended to do which is add clear chaos reach is trash your better off running well to Pump out more damage stormtrance is weak And I can guarantee That No sane warlock would use Arc on a GM. Also that dumb pvp slide wave frame build is gonna get fixed. I am hoping that warlock strand is not a tiny version of Nova Bomb that does more.
Let’s not forget that warlock will get nerfed week 1
Edit: all of you saying that arc warlock is great for PvE I wanna see a video of you doing Lightblade Gm actually scratch that do all this seasons Gms with arc warlock You will learn the hard way why arc warlock will not cut it For end game content Arc hunter and titan are great they can deal with champions. Warlock will get overrun and sent to orbit

4 通の返信I’ll be straight up blunt. Last year TWAB’s had meat and substance and actually read like an update on the game’s status. I actually looked forward to reading about upcoming tweaks or teases every Thursday. This year they are comparatively useless. Very little substance, mostly community fluff and just not good overall in my opinion. But I feel like the same is going on with the seasons. They haven’t grabbed me at all story wise this year so far. Risen felt the best and it was the dang short season with WQ. Hoping next season picks up.

You just have a vocal minority of players -blam!- the changes, and don’t want to engage with the larger role that buildcrafting now plays in the game. The people who are willing to engage (in good faith) with the changes are generally happy. Those who aren’t are frustrated and angry. But the difference is that instead of complaining about the changes, he used his energy to get the most out of what we’ve been given and lean into the aggressive play Bungie wants to define the arc subclass. Warlock got hit the worst with these changes, they removed the pve version of all of their supers in favor for the pvp ones. This change hurts solar warlocks the most, it is no longer that good nor a viable option in pve unless you are using Well of radiance, which isn't that good solo or in most activities. Arc 3.0 made it even more disapointing due to them giving Hunter a whole new super. Really makes me wish that all 3.0's got that. The only thing new added to the other classes was just a melee, wohoo. I wish that sub class 3.0 was a much bigger thing then what it was. 2.0 gaved all classes and sub classes a new super. In my opinion 3.0 should have replaced old supers, as to make it feel fresh. Instead we lost supers .

Everyone loves to defend the sorry state warlock is in and bungie has not made a comment on it either. I just swapped to titan and the difference is like night and day, I’ll probably stick with titans until warlocks get some buffs.

34 通の返信Again, Chaos Reach is a hybrid super. You can use it for damage on bosses with Geomags but it is mainly an add clear super these days. Kills explode for a reason, man.

It just needs some small tweaks to make the supers actually effective, and maybe one to boost up the amplified melees a little. Chaos Reach: - Add “casting while amplified grants increased damage resistance and damage (about +10%) Electrostatic Mind - Add “casting your super while amplified causes your super to jolt targets.” Chain Lightning - Increase the lunge range (+2m) and initial hit damage (+30% in PvE only) while amped. Ball Lightning - Increase the final strike’s damage by ~30% in PvE only. Small changes make a big difference. It just needs a small something to compete with the other subclasses. Same with Dawnblade. They’re not bad, just require a lot of build crafting to hit the same baseline.

6 通の返信Yet another post crying about arclock 3.0. When y’all gonna realize that a subclass is NOT simply the sum of its super? I haven’t been a warlock user since around year 2s end. Only coming back to it here and there. But arc 3.0 is very fun to use and is not weak. It is easily comparable to using my Titan or hunter. Abilities are near instant recharge. Arc souls none stop. Stormtrance with crown lasts forever. But hey, “my goku attack doesn’t melt a boss 😭😭😭😭😭”

9 通の返信I’ll do it, I’ll use arc warlock on all Gms. I’m going to do it purely as a challenge and research purposes and not going for or against your statement on the state of warlock abilities.
