Nerf stompees even more and then I’d be ok with whatever change they want. Hunters already have the fastest ability charge and the dodge is the best ability. The dodge on the titan is not the same, it’s on 1 subclass and it doesn’t have added bonuses or tied into a bunch of exotics. The flinch doesn’t work at least on console. Can’t tell you how many times I start shooting first and yet my head is still taken off due to flinching to the head or worse probably cronos or xim. So currently resiliency does nothing but hunters also benefit from that so I don’t understand the gripe with buffering mobility, I still don’t have movement like hunters even at 100 mobility on titan

You're looking at this as only a Hunter buff. Under my idea, Titans and Warlocks would get benefits from mobility too. And the gripe is Titans and Warlock gain by sacrificing a key stat. They literally travel faster overall with low mobility, so the choice of 2 100s between recovery, mobility, and resilience is made for them because of how weak the mobility stat is.

Apologies I meant marksman’s, not gamblers. I was looking at the base cool downs for each, Marks man’s is lowest of all at 29 secs, thruster is second at 30 and rally is 32. I was under the assumption that increasing your class stat gives you a flat buff to cool down regardless of class. Perhaps I’m mistaken. Again apologies if so. It doesn’t change the fact that resil has been worthless for 8 years and hunters were fine with that yet as soon as it gets buffed they start crying! Get f-ed hun-tards!

PS4Weebにより編集済み: 9/30/2022 2:28:38 PMBut resilience hasn’t been worthless it was in a same boat as mobility. It had a tiny effect in pvp and useless in pve. It was just enough to feel content with a stat you were already going to build into for your class most likely. Now resilience got that buff but mobility didn’t and it’s rather easy choice for titans and warlocks to spec into recovery and resilience because they benefit from low mobility while hunters are the only class that has to make the difficult choice of how they want those stats distributed. All the resilience buff did was poimt out that recovery was the only stat that was worth specing into on all characters which benefited warlocks greatly but makes sense in the class system. They only had to spec into recovery giving more stats to their abilities. Now resilience gives noticeable benefits like recovery and mobility is left behind. Plus this isn’t a hunter buff all it does is reinforce the ideas of the class system and build crafting to your playstyle. A mobility stat buff benefits all who choose to invest in it and even those who don’t just like the resilience buff did.

Peanut_343により編集済み: 9/30/2022 2:32:58 PMI am more than happy for mobility to gets buffs for PVE only like resil did but the OP is talking about general buffs to movement and that will have a profound effect in pvp where hunters are already dominant and OP. Bungie won’t split PVE and pvp in terms of movement due to how it feels to play. If this were a traditional RPG then movement could buff the agility stat meaning the shots were more likely to miss completely and I could support something like that for PVE only but I’m not sure how they could instigate that in an fps. Also mobility was far from a worthless stat as it increases strafe speed which is of massive benefit in pvp.

Resilience got buffed in both pve and pvp. And I agree that a mobility buff in pvp shouldn’t give increased sprint speed it should give increased AE based on your tier. I like the evasiveness idea for pve though. And mobility and resilience, pre resilience buff, we’re equally mediocre. You either gave up strafe speed for extra health from resilience or the opposite. Yes resilience was important for preventing two taps and one shots from smart players. Now mere strafe speed is not worth it when you get extra health and huge flinch resistance benefits from resilience. On top of that with the low mobility your Titan and warlocks movement will be faster if you are using them optimally which isn’t difficult.

Danteにより編集済み: 9/29/2022 8:25:01 PMits not you actualy get baricade faster than hunter gets dodge for some reason t10 res double kickstart baricade 13s t10 mob double kickstart dodge 14s so basically hunter invest into the most useless stat ingame to have worse cd on ability than titan on baricade while having t10 of the strongest stat ingame

I’ve seen someone else say this as well. The base cool-down on marksman (which is what I actually meant) is lower and I had (perhaps mistakenly) assumed this would translate to max stat boost as well. If I am wrong I cede that point
