To prevent this make your own post and become the fire team lead and then no one can kick you.

You realize if everyone is making an lfg post so nobody can kick them before collecting loot that nobody is going to be able to find a group right? Should definitely be a voting system for anything more than 2 players.
-
I disagree. It will encourage more players to join posts when they see it’s not just for a checkpoint hold or to screw with them. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe I’m right, but I tend to join more LFG posts when they are more clear with their intentions/dynamic. I.e KWTD to avoid having to Sherpa if not in the mood to do so.

Um yeah if everyone is making lfg posts that means nobody is joining... lfg has always been hit and miss for me. Trolls, toxic players, nice players, sherpas. I've only been kicked once way back in d1 prison of elders by a troll. Thankfully it's not a huge issue yet imo

Ok, I don’t think he meant it as a literal “everyone.” I think it was meant as more of if more people who were in this situation did it, they couldn’t be worried about being kicked anymore. I’m the same, never been kicked from an LFG but I’ve always been honest about my intentions and skill level on certain aspects as well, I think it goes a long way.

Tippstir91により編集済み: 9/28/2022 4:19:53 PMActually it’s a very viable solution. You want to get the raid done but you’re worried about being kicked? This is how you solve it. Wanna know why it bothers most new lights and inexperienced players and makes them think it’s not a good solution? Because they want to be carried still and they figure the best way is to join and LFG but not say they don’t know how the raid works and hope they make it through the whole thing. They want Bungie to make a way so that they can’t be kicked from a raid when people are frustrated that one person is holding 5 back because they didn’t bother to watch 4 min videos on YouTube of fights. That’s how you make sure you don’t get kicked, by being prepared.
How about you stop being an -blam!- in activities and kicking people who carried you to the boss
Oi you came at me because people kicked me from a group after helping them best Galran, yet you 180 here. Typical clout chaser.
-
I find it extremely doubtful this is even a more than 1% of the situation type of scenario; if they are kicking people for carrying them, to a Cp, this implies they can’t get it done without said people. So, how the -blam!- will they get the CP done without the team that carried them to it in the first place? The reasoning isn’t logical at all, so again it’s more likely kicks are happening because of poor attitudes, bad coms, or lack of overall raid/activity knowledge.

DesireDriveにより編集済み: 9/28/2022 4:32:32 PMLogical XD you really are that stupid huh, I had it happen to me on a POH run earlier, get to the boss and the leader kicks both of us after he was screwing up on the plates encounter and couldnt find the wizards later on. Maybe understand what logic is before you try acting smart here Even more after calling him out in DM he acted like he was in the right. You have to be just as delusional as he is

First off, I appreciate the personal attack, you seem like someone who wouldn’t get kicked from a group for poor attitude. I know it does happen, but again, I’m saying it’s an outlier. You have had it happen yes? Well I’ve never seen it happen. Now we have 2 accounts in the sample size of hundreds of thousands on a daily basis. We would have to compartmentalize all of those instances into a larger pool of data to determine empirical cause, which we haven’t, so we can’t definitely say that this is the scenario every time someone gets kicked. The best we can do is look at the overall population pool of users of LFG to look to see if LFG posting continues to be utilized as a positive tool to form groups despite this large and ongoing issue that would prevent people from finishing activities. How often does this occur to you? On a weekly basis? A daily basis? Or just this one time and you got upset about it? If it happened all the time, I think their would be an inherit issue with the volume of LFG posting over a long period of time, but LFG posting has actually increased with the number of players also coming into the game, so that connection also wouldn’t make sense. So yes, based on rational logic, it would be safe to assume that LFG is still a viable option that provides most users with an average experience of completing the activities without trolling or harassment issue. If this weren’t the case, volumes wouldn’t be going up, they’d be going down due to frustration over the experience. We like to look at outliers and extremes in our society and label them as the norm, but we really need to remember that just because an extreme situation occurs to you, doesn’t mean it’s the average or norm to others or the mean of the population.

Tippstir91により編集済み: 9/28/2022 5:05:46 PMOh for sure, that was made clear after I got a message in my DM being accused of reporting him lol. Bungie knows who made the report on him and it wasn’t me, but if it makes him sleep better at night he can blame me. I just sincerely hope nobody around him is at danger because I’m seeing some really telling signs of anger and mental abuse.
