Yes they should and the artifact should be changeable regardless of the season.
This could easily elevate the game without truly sunsetting it.
Gives more customization and prestige to players while opening up the gates for the players who missed out on content.
Being against accessible in anything is stupid especially when everyone would have access to it.
It is not like you are giving adept weapons to players for free or something.
If players pay their $10 for the season pass, they should be able to play it no matter what.

DavoDestructorにより編集済み: 9/24/2022 4:31:58 PMI’ve thought for a while that the old season passes should be open to progress, if it’s paid for in the season, then why not - Bungie isn’t losing out on anything, and there’s no distinct advantage to a player wanting to do this. However, I never thought about the seasonal artefact being changeable, and that sir, is a tremendous idea! Imagine the build variation and play style options it would open up! What a suggestion! Take my money! Edit: I get it’s not all artefacts at once, but man, I’m fed up of being shoe-horned into seasonal builds, every season. I.e if I run a void build, let me play with the void mods from a few seasons ago

what? how? it would just mean that someone who bought the deluxe edition 3 season in wouldn't miss out on 2 seasons worth of rewards just because they waited to buy/upgrade to the deluxe edition. It wouldn't lose bungie money because they are still getting the money, in fact, it might help sales since buying deluxe edition partway through the year wouldn't be as much of a bad thing for the player.

You realize how boring and broken the game is already in its current state. This game has been on a life line for a while and the developers are the ones continuously keeping it that way. They think their ideas are the best ideas while ours are considered outrageous and stupid. 7 long years and still cannot figure out the identity they want for the game and the classes collectively.

Yea right. This game is regressive. In terms of aesthetics, yes you can say it is better but in terms of potential and gameplay experience, it is worse. This game has not even attempted to change the core systems for the better. This game has taken more content from D1 to improve it than the content that came with it for improvement. To me that is not an improvement to the core systems. This game has been stripped mostly of everything it started with and anything that has been added has been neutered and bandaid adjusted.

Build-crafting isnt even close to what it could be potential wise. Limitations and control factors still exist in the customization. The same can be said for subclasses due to how most exotics and even combat mods dont synergy with weapons. Trust me I hear you, it has gotten slightly better but it is not near what it can reached. They are using the potential of reach as content continuation of sales.

Like what? The games in a good spot right now, overall, and heading in a good direction. The game is sitting on an unfinished core and I want to see that finished. We need the last two elements and associated armor types. Then, Bungie needs to keep making new mods for buildmaking within the 6 element framework. With the new elements, I’d like to see match game and champions go to promote more build diversity in all content, but that’s probably not happening any time soon.

hate n payneにより編集済み: 9/24/2022 6:27:26 PMIt is sitting in a good spot but it is lacking in using the most simplistic complex to expand the potential. D1 was simple but had a more expansive approach to what it offers. D2 has been abusing and stripping what D1 while using it to make up what D2 has been stripped of. META shifts have been vastly abused with Champions and gameplay for content and is the one of the biggest problems in this game that has destroyed diversity and variety. Combat mods are suffering because they are too costly for what they offer and they lack pure customization via each player’s behavior of play. It promotes limitations rather than freedom of choice.

What? Overcosted? Are you mad? Yeah, it may cost 4 per armor piece to run my build, but I also get a 15% damage buff to 2 of my weapons for 15 seconds every time I use a grenade, barricade, or get a crit kill with my ar. It’s like having a second exotic when you put those mods on every armor piece!

They ARE AHEAD OF RUST, and that's it's!! RUST. A Survival Game is one of many games on steam chart with a higher player count then D2. They are pulling in fortnight armour and fall guys crossovers so fast you can tell it's a sinking ship, that they are hoping desperately to patch. -- Bungie spends more time on cosmetics upgrades but barely fixes the mechanics in thier own game. This game is doing quiet bad, and has been for a number of years now.

hate n payneにより編集済み: 9/24/2022 2:34:23 PMReally is and that approach is the one reason the game struggles with. They want you to play in some limited control space of space magic and good gunplay/gameplay. Anytime something is working as intended, they nerf it because players are enjoying what it has to offer too much which is a lot to say about the content and components that are not. The new falcon chest piece works amazingly but instead of adjusting and improving class ability exotics that could be used to compete against it, they nerf the one that is working while neglecting the ones that are struggling. Just laziness and tone deaf to improvements for the game that are needed to allow everyone to compete in their own behavior of play.

It's because they cut the work force in half while doubling/tripling the work load on one of the best game ips the market has to offer. I really don't understand why they thought moving to a new project was a good idea. Ik matter is in some way part of destiny (don't know how broad or little), and ik burn out is a real thing, but I just don't understand why you'd just half -blam!- something like this game. This could've been one of the end all be all franchise for gaming. Like ffxiv reborn, CoD or Skyrim, but even more so.

hate n payneにより編集済み: 9/24/2022 3:29:38 PMYooooo you hit the nail on the coffin for sure with your response. You see what I see. The amount of money and potential that could be had in this game is wasted on crappy decisions for control and limitations versus fun and freedom. Bungie does not understand what they have in their possession in terms of a genre. There are companies trying their hardest to master a similarity to this game and honestly it will not be before long before someone or some company does. Imagine if Activision decided to lean more into the space magic element, this game would be done for.

Imagine Jason Jones and Joseph Staten still at the helm. The ORIGINAL visionaries of Bungie and destiny. It's sad how corporations adulterate and consume everything. There's limitations to what could've been expressed and done for destiny 1 but an overhaul could've been done between them and D2. Everything could've been 6.0 by this point rather than 3.0
