There was a gamemode that has exactly what you desire out of a multiplayer experience for years, and you didn't play it. You claim you want fair matches? You weren't playing Comp. You claim you hate quitters and they make your games terrible? You still weren't playing Comp. You are are full of it, every one of you, -blam!- to play a gamemode specifically catered to to your SELFISH ( Yes, SELFISH) demands of multiplayer. It was always there for you, for literally years, and only now to you liars pretend you give a damn. Keep pretending, I and everyone else with critical thinking skills see RIGHT. THROUGH. YOU.
Seriously, screw you, screw SBMM and quitter penalties in a CASUAL GAMEMODE, and screw Bungie's lasy AF approach to the issue.

10 通の返信That's because Comp wasn't a game mode that was fun? Not because of the Skill rating etc. I just didn't find having limited lives fun? Had they had control, or Rumble in the comp playlist deffo would have played there.

Your post made me smile :) I have this mental image of a 20-somethign man sitting in front of his computer at 3:30 in the afternoon on a weekday, still wearing his pajamas, furiously typing that post with Cheeto-stained orange fingers and gnashing his still-unbrushed teeth. He hit's POST, takes a big swig of the leftover Red Bull from last night and hurls it across the room where it lands on the floor with all of the other garbage littering his room. I AM ANGRY AND THERE ARE DOZENS MORE JUST LIKE ME!

SBMM is good for 90-99% off the playerbase cause then they won't get squished by "xXnolifeswaglord69Xx" every single game. And hell I'm not sure what's high K/D but I think I'm sitting at 1.8ish and my games are awesome. And as the sweats and stacks and farmers.said before SBMM. Maybe it's their time to *git gud*?

I never personally asked for them to throw in the penalties, but since it doesn’t really affect me since I just play to get the weeklies done I really don’t mind them at all. If you [i]knowingly[/i] play the team-focused gamemode with active “SBMM” and then still decide to quit because you find the match unfavorable(and not because actual server/internet issues) you 100% deserve the penalty. No ands, ifs or buts.

Oh yes. Let’s go back to the way things were before. With everyone just not playing pvp. That’s exactly what we want. Kill the game mode so people can go back to the way things have been for years. Nobody plays comp because the game mode is too slow. Only for the lvl grind is when comp is useful. Is comp Sbmm or ranked based matchmaking? Honestly don’t know. But the pvp scene is balanced around control. So as the main game mode of the pvp scene not the “ casual “ game mode it should have sbmm. Sbmm should have launched with severs and way better team balancing tbh. They should’ve had a clash permanent game mode with cbmm.

3 通の返信So which makes you more mad, the fact you cant run around pub stomping and KD/A padding or the fact you werent really doing it to begin with and it was all just meta crutches and now that youre up against your skill level having to "git gud" you dont like it? Im betting its the last one. This game has WAY to many balancing issues between classes, weapon types, weapon archetypes, perks, and oerk combos for SBMM/CBMM and quiter penalties to mean little more than jacksh*t. And on top of that the game runs on hybrid servers with peer to peer connections. Destiny PvP takes little to no skill, never has. 90% of the "skill" in PvP comes from meta crutching, nothing more. Which is why i avoid it like the plague aside from the obvious balancing and connection issues. Without those OP perk combos and meta builds id be willing to bet half of the top 25% of players wouldnt even be able to hit the top 50% on their best day. You cant say youre good if youre perk combos are doing 90% of the work for you.

I do agree the quitting penalty should be in comp not the casual modes. But I also come from the perception of Seriously who cares about winning/losing 6v6s that bad lol [spoiler]Every battle is a learning experience, whether you’re a god-slayer or a neophyte[/spoiler]

Bro just stay out of control that simple. Don’t get me wrong I 100% agree with you. But no need to waist your breath on this dead issue. Most people that love control now stayed out of comp. And probably still do. My thing is if they love sbmm so much where’s their unbroken seals at? Comp been sbmm from the start. PvP is changing to cater to the casuals that simple that’s why bungie is retiring the unbroken seal for a more obtainable seal for even the worse pvp players. Honestly we got more to lose than the average player. Lesser skill players don’t see that because they feel like they been the victim of cbmm in control all these years. So only care about rubbing it in people faces because they have a safe space. I only started playing at the end of forsaken and achieved so much in pvp, that why none of the players can hold water with me when it comes to there excuses of why they do bad in PvP. But anyways like I said this is a dead issue and just move on.

4 通の返信My games still consistently have multiple people leaving them, honestly doesn’t really feel like quitter penalties are doin too much lmao. Hell i’ll dip out of a game if the connections are extremely bad, or if i load into a game in progress where my team is getting slaughtered.
