I'm glad they did it.
All quitters are just simply revealing themselves with pride 😂

Oh -blam!-, im sorry. I forget that there are out of touch people that come one here that try to “School the kids”. Im not gonna put effort into my -blam!- talking if you have the fragility of hiding your stats. I keep my stats viewable so that people have the option of making fun of me for doing -blam!-. As far as saying nothing during cbmm, what do you want me to say? I had no issues with it, so im not going to go screaming that i love cbmm.

Alexにより編集済み: 9/24/2022 7:12:40 AMWhat do you want me to prove? Cause i sure as hell cant prove you have any skill. But then again i really cant fault you for that, your reaction time must be shot from all of that keyboard warrior stuff you do. Or maybe its just that natural decline. I digress, i dont care what you label me, cause in the end, im not the dude going around using kiddo when addressing random mfs on the internet thinking he is hip and -blam!-. Speaking of schooling, I can tell you and your English teacher didnt get along considering you have no sources to back up your point. Just hidden stats.

It’s a casual playlist with Zero rewards/incentives/pursuits. (Mentioned by bungie) to be a “jump on and play” activity. Which it’s now not. It’s “jump on and be forced to play what you get, and if you don’t like it suffer the consequences” No protection against stacks, poor connection, bungie error codes, bad teammates or griefers. Again, it’s a casual playlist. Someone said quitting ruins the other experience. What about my experience? -What if I’m facing laggy Xbox/PSN players and want to leave? -What if I’m facing a multitude of stacks and aren’t having fun anymore? -What if I have some teammates that aren’t playing and are doing awful. Why should I have to stay and deal with it? I’m punished for the sake of others Quitter penalties aren’t the solution. Incentivizing the playlist is. Quality control is. MM/Connection balance is. Solo queue is.

Spawn Of Apathyにより編集済み: 9/19/2022 9:26:23 PMI guess some people treat it like a “jump on and play, oohhh except that map, except that one too, nope team’s already losing, why are there two people staying in the spawn(?), nope not against a stack, not this map either, nobody came with me to B, died twice in a row without a kill, nope still never playing this map.” And keep quitting until they find a lobby that suits them.

More Powerにより編集済み: 9/19/2022 1:45:40 AMBungie should call it a competitive noob friendly game mode, where all skill levels are matched against equally skilled players. That would take away the argument about it being a “social” “hop on and play” game.

but it's not, that's half the problem. It was for the first 3 weeks of the season. With the changes applied to sbmm 2 weeks ago they are allowing way wider of a range of players to play together which invalidates the whole of sbmm to begin with so most games are bad to the level of cbmm. The other half of the problem is the maps. So in other words, I'd be ok with the penalties, if they restored the original sbmm that was in place earlier, and had a system for map voting or rotation. Put it this way, even if the map is not completely rubbish, I don't want to play it 3 times out of 5 just because rng.

More Powerにより編集済み: 9/19/2022 6:50:22 PMI’ve been seeing the slip in SBMM back to cbmm as well. Right now, control looks a lot like the cbmm games of last season. Notice also, that the cb crybabies have stopped complaining. So disappointing… This may have been the plan from the beginning. Unfortunately for Bungie, this only makes it worse for them. The reputation for destroying new players in PvP will be pushed hard as we lead into the holiday season. Who knows, maybe the average and below players will adopt the quitter mentality, and leave games in enough numbers to force the cb’ers to play others at their skill level… turnabout fair play?

The game isnt revolved around you. You can keep repeating yourself and hope that if you say it enough it will become the truth but it wont be. It is also interesting for you to pick and choose what Bungie said and use it as a proof while dismissing other things they said because it support your narrative. If you quit, that is on you. You can make excuses, but you got into PvP knowing what it is.
I’m punished for the sake of others Quitter penalties aren’t the solution. Incentivizing the playlist is. Quality control is. MM/Connection balance is. Solo queue is.
So, you just want others punished for your sake? Solo queue is required in most playlists in PVP, I agree. Better incentives, sure Lobby balancing yes, SBMM is great although they are playing around with it too much too much at the moment. All your problem is yourself, and your replies makes it obvious

I don’t have a problem personally. I don’t quit matches, and my history proves it. I also don’t have a skill issue. So that’s out the window too. So what else could I be talking about pertaining to strictly myself as a player and the changes stated? Im speaking perspectively for all players who feel this way, and what needs to change to compensate. You have your history hidden for a reason.

But let me guess, you are all about throwing mud without needing to prove it. Wow all players who feel that way? And if I said I'm speaking for all players who feel the opposite then what? You haven't said anything related to what I said. Wanna try again?
*continues to hide history to avoid embarrassment
You are free to put the effort and check as mentions above... But your point was never to prove anything, but to talk needlessly.. Run forest run 😂
