I’m indifferent about div being nerfed or not BUT,
It’s broken, there is no other way to cut it. A nerf to it MAY make for a more fun PvE sandbox involving more snipers and other precision weapons.

They think that because “then why didn’t you say anything before?!?” And that’s a dumb mentality because, as you stated… we are indifferent. He’s bringing a problem to the forefront but the problem, while possibly a big one, is such an engrained aspect of the game at this point, who cares.

Nerf gjallahorn, nerf linears, nerf well, nerf weapons of light, nerf everything that Makes dps easy. Nerf tractor cannon? It’s all broken cause it makes dps easy. It’s a power fantasy game for god’s sake. Divinity is fine for most people in the game who find themselves within -1 or 1 SD from the mean. Someone in the .000x% should not have sweeping balance changes around them, period.

Don’t use it, it’s not required. I’m top 0.2% in sbmm this season. I can aim..Oh and I love using DIV to help my teammates or randoms in pve too. Wow, what a novel concept. Don’t use it then, but don’t force others to play how you want to, it comes off as short sighted and immature.

What??? You can do every raid encounter without div just fine. 🤷🏻♂️ Go through their phases as intended, JUST FINE. If you want to go faster, use something that alleviates it: div, tether, tractor, etc. Stop telling people how they should play their game. That’s my main point.

I think what he is trying to say is if you feel divinity makes the game too easy for you than you should challenge yourself & your teammates by not using it. If we're being honest there has never been a single post about divinity until a 3x world first player said something. It is what it is I guess. Every encounter in this game can be completed without using divinity.
