You have come to the realization that the only thing you can do to “potentially” invoke change to PVP is to stop playing.
But will you?
It’s easier to cry on the forum than to actually stop playing if you’re not enjoying the game.
3/4’s of the idiots on this forum won’t stop playing but continuously complain.

I've quit control. I won't play it while it's still sbmm. And before someone comes at me with the "yOu JuSt dOn'T wAnT tO pLaY pEoPlE yOuR oWn SkILl LeVeL" argument, when I do play pvp I'll be playing mostly comp and trials unless IB is around.

Bro, that still means nothing. Both Trials and Iron Banner have no form of skill-based matchmaking, you're still as likely to match into a team of sweats as a team of newbies. In fact, Trials actively encourages you to farm worse players with the flawless requirement. You would literally never go flawless under skill-based matchmaking.

They won’t stop playing, they just won’t play control, which will lower the player count and make games harder cos all of a sudden that “loose sbmm” figure range will start to narrow and everyone will complain their games are harder.
