Foreal this thing lasts longer than any other roaming super by a dank margin, if that's not enough it has dr AND increased mobility, AND can do AOE dmg, AND fire close-range projectiles, AND oh yea it deflects from almost 360° with the push of a button. I have a clip of someone activating about 20m away, absorbing 2 shots from my bow while frolicking through my pulse grenade followed by a fusion spray, then managing to kill me and 2 blueberries who were also firing at him with just light attacks while critical, then... MAKING HIS WAY ACROSS THE MAP and killing me with the same super 15 seconds later. He still had enough juice to kill another teammate after that another 10m away before running out, basically unscathed. Nerf it now please jesus

1 返信I feel like Arcstuff needs a buff, like 500% resist when dodging, and bigger aoe damage radius. Maybe slight extension to super duration would be good too. Cheers.

3 通の返信Nerf the titan’s shoulder charge ability. It has no cooldown when sprinting. It should have same cooldown like the warlock’s icarus dash.

Was against all Hunter nerf posts until Iron Banner week and that arc staff was insane and the usage was crazy . It was so much better than other hunter supers besides golden gun. Seemed there were no stasis or void hunters all Arc Striders and golden gun with a few blade barrages. It does have counters as others have said but it’s a terror when you are in solo playlist and got no team to team shot anything and if you didn’t equip the right subclass or weapons to counter it and IB was 6v6 so tough to build for only one type to counter when have Titans and Warlocks to counter also . Even compared to other hunter super abilities like barrage, staff throw and void it gives you way more time to kill a bunch of players especially combined with the Exotic and as hunter main gotta admit it’s OP in the right hands along with exotic and feels more like should be ok for PvE but definitely weaker for pvp to solve problem.

5 通の返信Being killed twice by the same super is a spawning issue, not an issue with the super itself, especially arc strider. Strider is the slowest super in the game and it's not close. It takes an exotic to not burn the super guarding too. I would absolutely take fighting an arc strider over a blinking tickle finger that can instant kill everyone in the immediate vicinity with a simple activation.

3 通の返信Listen I’m not an Arcstrider, I’m a Gunslinger and I get annoyed when it deflects my shots but that’s what it’s literally supposed to do Isn’t that the point? Doesn’t Sentinel do the same thing???

I don’t know about the “longest” super. I still have nightmares of a really good dude that murdered the entire team with six shooter golden gun. We were hiding in the corner, weeping from laughter every time the dude popped it. It lasted for what seemed like an eternity. Then he would find us and everyone started to evaporate in a golden flame, we’d be running and just get erased from existence. It was entertaining and terrifying all at the same time. Seriously hope that dude gets a girlfriend, or stubs his toe real hard. He was too good.

It is the easiest super to avoid by far. All you need to do is jump to evade it.

Nope. After they nerfed it from it being arguably quite busted but was pretty fun lol it’s just quite minimal DR now while in super dodge. It’s very easy to make a bad move and get team shot while super dodging to close a gap

6 通の返信Just gonna for once in my life, say git gud. Its arc staff. Its been -blam!- for seasons upon seasons except a few minor scenarios using exotics/bugs, one of which is what your crying for a nerf over realistically, if i can get in their face and kill em with a shotgun pretty actively, or even a sniper, you can probably outrun them. Does the bug need to be fixed pronto? Yes. Does Arc need a nerf? No. Lets not make supers even shittier then they already are compared to weapons.

Staying away, getting in a few minor shots, and teamwork can pretty easily dominate even a skilled arcstaff. Generally, it's a good super, and the block ability makes it actually viable in the place of spectral or goldie with invis and a load of range, respectively. Also, I'd nearly guarantee that the guardian you fought used Raiden Flux, as I have never encountered enough super energy to get off a short burst, even in Control with 4-5 people on a point, without that exotic, which makes other amazing exotics like Liar's Handshake or Bombadiers/Gemini unusable. Small update, it could also be Raiju's, I just haven't used it this season and wasn't aware of the bug yet.

3 通の返信I mained it all iron banner Deflect does not deflect 360* it’s 180 Grenades you walk over still damage you Deflecting can glitch and miss adventure suicide bomb the user when deflecting damage ( no it’s not the eruption timer) Super last 30 seconds or 45 with the raju harness which also doesn’t use super energy to deflect but that time goes down after every attack The “projectiles” from a proper combo go about 2-3m If you meant projectiles from deflecting …….STOP SHOOTING ARROWS AT IT. Counter it by timing a shotgun melee just as they get close enough and they are about to stop guarding and light attack you Also it’s not faster You can jump light attack for a ever so minor speed boost that cost energy A titan shoulder charging or a warlock Icarus or warlock hunter blink is faster then the super Stop crying for nerfs and maybe adapt and overcome something you die to doesn’t make it overpowered Crying for nerfs makes you a casual
