3 通の返信why do people -blam!- about this every damn time. not everyone works 9-5, Monday-Friday jobs. granted I requested this day off but I usually always have to work weekends, 11-7
-
1 返信I get why. They didn't want a repeat of Vow where teams would constantly get error coded out of the Raid. Having the Raid be on a week day means that more people will be in the office if something goes wrong. That being said, it ultimately only affects you if you're a part of the World's First Race. So only like 5% of players.

6 通の返信They already explained it. Do some research. They changed to Fridays because the team isn’t in the office on weekends so if something goes wrong, they aren’t there to fix it. We should be thanking them for changing it because it results in a fairer race that is more enjoyable for all who participate.

19 通の返信It is what it is. Raid race only ever interested me one time. It’s set up for streamers and people that play the game for a living, not everyday average players. We’re just the plebes that keep the game going for those guys. I have a regular job that has long hours (teacher… yeah I’ll probably get flack but teachers have long hours. I get to work before 7AM and don’t get home most days before 5) so I just don’t think about it anymore and actively try to avoid the info about it. Same thing with the summits and stuff like that.

Bungie should just leave contest mode on as an option after the worlds first race has completed. Or just have the option for contest until it’s been a week, if Bungie really wants to keep that FOMO but still be a bit generous.

7 通の返信My problem is, why setting such a difficulty on every day one raid? It would be more interesting, competitive and rewarding, if the first run show you the new mechanics on normal mode. After finishing that, you have access to hardmode. Every player, that beat the raid within 24h get the emblem to show, you were here on release day. Normal on first run, hardmode with world first opportunity. I loved the raid in D1, but i have to wait a whole day, because some streamers want to demonstrate which clan can jerk on this raid first. That‘s not what i understand with bungies community focus. I don‘t care which one wins first, i think most of us would play the raid just for fun and stop after their first run.
-
1 返信So some featured streamers could get worlds first. Don’t want some bunch of randoms winning it again. How embarrassing.
Why Bungie? With that being said, good luck raiders
The raid was smoother, so maybe we benefitted. The raid still had a good number of bugs though. Enemies not dying or moving, buffs not applying, challenges randomly failing before even possible, etc. Not as bad as VotD though.

Because contest mode being on saturday makes it so the non sweaty people who just wanna play the regular raid can't during the weekend? How is that so hard to understand. And if you're in NA and think theres no other time zones, well then yea... It being on Friday atleast gives the normal raiders a day of their weekend to play the raid. Otherwise it would be 4 hours on sunday evening.

5 通の返信It fit perfectly for Europe. Obviously not optimal that it only works for 1 region, but only the americans suffered. Considering there's 820 million people in europe and 330 million in the U.S. i don't think it's THAT outragous. still i maintain, that it's silly that ANYBODY loses out, but it is what it is.

6 通の返信Equip tin foil hat: They did it to ensure that a team of Streamers would win “worlds first” and not some LFG group of randoms that played the raid in D1😂

9 通の返信And why don't they actually play test their game before pooing this steaming turd on the floor? The number of broken exotics, weapons, armour, unstable network and terribly slow / broken API for companion apps or DIM web sites is beyond reasonable. Clearly Bungle is more focused on hype and other projects than delivering a quality game experience. They should change the name of the season to "Half-Arsed".

Why? They locked the remaining Arc 3.0 Fragments behind the world's first completion... that's why. Had they have not done that then it would have been a week later. That's the only answer. Forget about them saying it was in case of bugs happening or server issues. It was bc they launched a revamped subclass and locked parts of it behind a raid completion

2 通の返信It's a ridiculous decision that complete screws over the average player. It was a huge issue prior to Shadowkeep & I imagine it'll be another issue that Bungie reverses once a few poorly populated Day 1 raids go by. But it entertaining to read the fanboys defend Bungie (a multi-million corporation) like it's their close personal friend. LOL. I love this franchise too, but these people would defend Bungie if they were enslaving children to code their game.
