Warlocks got nerfed in arc 3.0, again
Landfall nerfed
Arc souls nerfed
No new abilities or supers
Chaos Reach still a below average DPS super considering how slow it is
Ionic traces nerfed
Warlocks still only class without 5 fragment slots
Other classes got buffs, new abilities, a new super, total reworks. Sounds exciting.
Only buff warlock got was a slight damage increase to low tier when using stormcaller, which it didn't need because it doesn't struggle against low tier enemies.
Arc 3.0 for warlocks is bad.

The melee subclass sucks at melee. The grenade build is way better but it’s also just a generic, kinda boring grenade build. Supers still suck too.

1 返信I have to put my two sense in. Arc Warlocks are in a good position, Arc soul is finally available to actually help you in Strikes, Raids, Crucible, open world, dungeons, and heaven forebid Gambit. Stormtrance FINALLY is viable now that both Landfall and Ionic Blink are combined, Chaos Reach does need a little bit of love in PvE but is overall an amazing super for single target or large group clear. Warlocks are finally viable again instead of just being a support class.

34 通の返信I seriously have no idea what you guys are doing because the basic low armor energy arc builds I got for my Warlocks have been having a ball. I got my Trinity Ghoul centered build working in PvP finally after like two years with Arc 3.0. Y'all got no build, bro. Build Issue.

Well it's come out and we ARE being ripped off. Again. I mean, really, A G A I N. . You have to go all the way back to Stasis, 2 years ago for when there was any real Warlock innovation. When Shatterdiving was nuts for the entire year. • Devour nerfed. Devour given away. Invisibility spamming meta. Invisibility not available to PvP Warlock. Omnioculus goes nuts. • Solar Well gutted. Bottom Tree gutted. Rift removed for the Phoenix Dive we had. An add-clear fingerclick being a gimmicky low-tier option. Radiant on demand given away free to Hunter whilst you have to score a charged melee hit first for Warlock - making eg Radiant Scout use just not viable on Warlock and easy as can be on others. Meanwhile Loreley goes nuts. • Arc nerfed. Same tired 'Palpatine toolkit' as before, but weaker. Using the same ancient Crown of Tempests without update. Same Chaos Reach, still not boss melting. Same add-clear Stormtrance - want to be Sith Lord Emperor Palpatine? Fine, well get to work clearing out those thrall whilst I Blade Barrage the Boss to death. Landfall can't even break a Titan Bubble anymore. No Blink exclusivity anymore. No Arc Web exclusive any more. No Ionic Traces exclusivity any more. A sliding charged melee - a chore mechanic, not a OHK, uses up an entire melee charge so not viable as a movement option, no use in tougher content either. No new movement options. No new Rift options or reworks. More nerfs, more one-way giveaways, no new fundamental kit. What are we meant to do Bungie ? Switch classes to use all their new toolkits and armory ? Go back to 2020 Shadebinder ? [B]These needed refreshes, innovation, interest levels sky-rocketting.[/b] This is years of damp squibs for Warlock.

I agree warlocks truly is the worst. Only void 3.0 was where warlocks somewhat shined but to all of your points I agree. No 5 fragments, overall nerfs that they tried to pass off as buff hell they may as well delete the warlock as much as they detest it. When will it stop like seriously if tried putting together something that makes sense arc 3.0 related and even tried watching builds on YouTube but everything UTTERLY SUCK I mean damn bungie just damn!!

38 通の返信Then you really need to work on your build crafting. Because the **basic** build that I came up with yesterday, synergizing Ionic traces with Crown of Tempests, Elemental wells and Arc weapons is nuts.

Mmmm.... Arc Warlock isn't that bad. Have you tried wombo comboing Lightning Surge and Storm Grenade yet? Really only thing that I feel sucks on Arc Warlock is that their isn't much point to get Amplified, besides the passive buffs from Amplified or super arc soul. Landfall actually feels very strong especially combined with Ionic Blink, even better if you combine it with lighting surge and then cast your super as your likely to easily close the distance in an instance compared to before where Landfall was just a sit around the corner and wait type of ability. Its only been a day and so far the only thing I am finding to be pretty dirty is Arc Titan and how whimpy Flashbangs still are despite the fact blinding should be a big part of Arc 3.0 So far though its pretty fun and its nice that Arc Soul isn't carrying me. Kinda tired of the minimum effort maximum reward abilities/weapons/exotics that have dominated the meta. The other issue I can assume people are having is the fact that Arc 3.0 is meant for pushing and aggressive playstyles, which is very difficult to do since the playerbase is very used to that type of behavior and far better at punishing a push... plus from what I've seen players are being more passive aggressive than truly aggressive, its less nerve wracking just to cover a door and lock down a map than to actually do something proactive. PvE wise? Feels very fun and I can't wait for the fragments to be unlocked. XD

3 通の返信Slide teleport lightning storm is pretty nifty, and it clears adds in a flash. Chaos reach for boss damage...healing or empowering on demand. Arc Warlock is almost too good. The key is to keep the traces and wells flowing to you.

10 通の返信The one thing that really passes me off about this whole thing is the new titan movement option is on a 30 sec cd, but Phoenix dive is still 1.5 min cd. That just doesn't make any sense.
