...and so it begins. Let this Warlock main think for a minute.... 1. You now get to have Landfall and Ionic blink as part of the same build. 2. You have access to new grenades that can now CHAIN their damage to nearby enemies. 3. You get to build up charges that not only ramp up the power of your abiliites (like a melee attack that can shock a target three times)....but with the right build....you also can get your super (theoretically) much faster. I just have to shake my head at how quickly people around here complain...and how its always in such a knee-jerk fashion.

Blink was never EVER (even in the lore) a warlock exclusive ability Give hunters their tripmines back Twilight garrison was given to warlocks for free as a perk Give Titans back their volatility Give hunters back their incendiary grenades Warlocks look fine. They got the least amount of changes because they really don’t need much improvement. This is coming from someone who plays all 3. Arcstaff and ESPECIALLY STRIKER had a lot of room for improvement. Trust me when I say warlocks will be top tier.

Warlock always were the worst class for PvP ....not something new with arc 3.0

Ah yes, let me just icarus dash away on my Hunter. Oh, and other classes using your grenades bothers you? Does that mean you won't use Lightening grenade unless you're on Titan? And Warlock Healing Grenades with the Adpect are significantly better than everyone else's healing grenades. Why do you care if Hunter and Titan use healing when Warlocks heal at twice the speed?

Getaway artists

Run 100 rec, 100 dis, Getaway Artist, Nezarec's Whisper. This -blam!- is gonna be absolutely busted. It's already really strong but with the arc 3.0 changes (i.e. arc special weapons blinding, teleporting melee, damage resist when surrounded) in combination with glaive getting a hit detection buff it is going to be super oppressive to play against.

Remove "arc 3.0" and "warlock" from your post. THAT is a good question.

Warlock arc has always been good while arc hunter has been bad and titan has been mediocre. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Last time they redid a subclass, y’all complained because they changed it too much. Now this time, y’all are complaining because they didn’t change it enough. SMH…

Why even choose a "main"? Just play what's most fun atm.

The worst part is that arc web was essentially repackaged and taken away from warlock and given to titan. So annoying that 2 warlock subclasses have been fumbled now.

As far as ionic trace "democratizing" goes I'm not personally too up in arms about it. From what we saw in the notes it looks like titans only make ionic traces when using pulse grenades and per hit with the grenade. That isn't a crazy amount of traces imo. I also didn't see anything as to how hunters would make traces. That makes it sound like it'll be through some fragment. I imagine it'll be pretty similar to how for void all classes are able to use invisibility on a finisher. But yeah I can see why that would make people mad.

I don't think its the end of the world, but I get some of the initial reaction. The biggest thing is that Warlocks just don't have much new stuff to be excited about. I think we all knew Hunter needed the most here, and the new super was deserved, but I can kinda get people being upset since the only real new ability warlocks got is the blink/melee thing, and that's coming after solar 3.0 where it was kinda the same situation. I wasn't mad about anything, but certainly confused about some of the choices. For example, we all know that every class gets all of the grenades now, but I didn't expect Titans to get such a unique Storm grenade function...Storm nades have been Warlock exclusive until now, so it felt odd to see them both democratize it [i][b]and[/b][/i] give extra functionality to another class. Also, Titans getting a melee ability that a OHK threw me off, because Bungie made a point to say they wanted to get rid of OHK abilities, and now have its only Locks who don't have one. Again, it just feels kinda odd. When it comes to redistributing abilities, I definitely get the feeling that the Warlocks have to share more with the other classes than the other way around. I still think the arc subclass will be good, but its just not fresh at all. Either way, I'm gonna continue maining Hunter to at least start the season...beauty of the game is that you can play all three classes and try everything, which gets ignored by a lot of people xD
