Compulsive Reloader is bad, like really bad.
The fact that it made it past the "this might be cool" phase of perk design is genuinely surprising. I won't get into long winded complaints about the uselessness of it, the numbers speak for themselves.

On the majority of guns it rolls on, CR is the least used perk. On some it's the 2nd or 3rd least used.
The only time it's in the top half of the usage column is on Snorri (presumably to proc Reservoir Burst more often), and [spoiler]it's not even that good on that either[/spoiler]

3 通の返信Compulsive Reloader, Extended Mag, Chill Clip on Deliverance or Riptide. Blast your 2 shots to freeze then reload and repeat. Also as you mentioned Reservoir Burst. Surprisingly... Compulsive Reload has yet to drop on a Shotgun and I imagine if one ever happened with Compulsive + Dual Loader it'd be kinda nuts. Also, any Suros Synergy weapon in PvP for extra flinch reduction and handling, so your Cantata-57 HC and Fugue-55 Sniper + Box Breathing, Syncopation-53 Pulse, etc. And any Omolon weapon which has the same Top-Half Reload Trait that stacks with it although that's just Snorri atm. It has it's places, but is more situational.

2 通の返信Make it a better reload timer. [b]After reloading, you have increased reload speed within 5-9 seconds[/b]. Boom problem solved. Nothing to do with the top half of the mag just a pure reload perk.

It’s for people like me who have a reflex bad habit of reloading after every 5 shots, they need to make the mechanics quicker and also make it proc max range max stability and max handling for 5 seconds or something

I think it's op perk on the right weapon. Like for example any precision weapon with the Suros Synergy origin trait. That's the origin trait that give you +40 handling and 20% flinch resistance for 6 sec's immediatly after a reload. Works very well with Compulsive Reloader on for example a Canatata-57. Imagine going into a duel with at 60 stability with 20% flinch reduction and eye of the storm. Or The Fugue sniper rifle which you can now build into up to something like 70% flinch resistance, I'm pretty sure the highest in the game. Personally I like Compulsive Reloader; but to each thier own.

The perk should’ve just been: “reloading your weapon manually buffs the reload speed next time you reload manually, stacks 10x. Stacks go away on death or weapon swap.” And at max stacks you’re reloading faster than both outlaw and ophidian aspects combined.

The only way it's good is if you get a compulsive reloader + reservoir burst fusion. Also why can this perk roll on high impact snipers, I mean you fire yourb1st shot and you can even use the perk unless you get a mag extension perk or mod.

Compulsive reloader is a good perk if we were playing call of duty, but considering on average it would take you over half a clip on most if not all automatic weapons to get the kill(in pvp) it truly has no benefit other than just being another little roadblock from you getting your god roll.

5 通の返信My biggest issue with it is that every Staccato I get that has incandescent has compulsive reloader. I’m beginning to think it is the only perk in that column. All I want is triple tap / incandescent or outlaw incandescent. The grind continues.

2 通の返信It really is useless but what else did you expect from bungie? They implement good luck protection by adding a trash perk, evading you from the god roll.

6 通の返信Its just a gimmick perk. Thats it. Hell, the only good combination you can have with it is with reservoir burst. But, since no fusion has both perks, its just useless.
