the days of Windows is coming to an end, Linux, Proton, SteamOS these are the future now
How many years have people been declaring that Linux is the future and it's here now or that Windows is coming to an end?
unethical
Do you even know what this word means because it's doesn't mean what you think it means in the context of how you used it..
How in the world is it unethical if Bungie opts not to support a particular OS / platform?

What I’m calling unethical is Bungie wanting to BAN anyone who finds a work around to play Destiny on their Steam Decks through SteamOS.

Again, you're using the word unethical in a manner that has no bearing to the actual meaning of the word.
Bungie has already stated that they will not support (or allow) Destiny 2 to be played on Steam Deck and more importantly on a OS that is not supported.
How is it unethical for Bungie in issuing bans against players who circumvent the supported platforms that Bungie has established as the only ones they will recognize?
What ethics are being violated or not upheld?

It’s bad business to ban people who want to play your game.
