I myself actually quite enjoy glaives but they are definitely too strong with the current shield. I just had a thought though. What if bungie were to make a change where glaives keep the same dr but they make the shield have a similar effect to riot shields in other games, so basically you would still be able to shoot at someones feet. But because this is Destiny, a game about headshots. I was thinking to make the top of your head exposed aswell, this would still keep them competitive but they would actually have a counter as long as you take your time and aim for that vulnerable spot although it would be I hard counter to shotguns and fusion rifles I guess. I feel this change shouldnt affect PvE at all too
