The DR on Omni is goofy because it's enough to give you advantage whether you shoot first or are hit first, for your whole team, while having the possibility of being always off cooldown, plus the benefits of Invis
I'm not saying just Omni is busted, because it's disingenuous to not acknowledge all the effects going around right now that make everyone a 400 health Raid Boss. But Omni under a microscope gives a little too much in PvP. I think it'd still be a good option if the DR was removed exclusively in PvP

Neat, that's one factor, which again puts you at advantage either way. You either get the first hit and are ahead in the gunfight or get hit first with enough DR to inflate an opponents ttk and are now ahead in gunfight when you engage anyway This is on top of giving this effect to your entire team, no actual cooldown when used with your team, and all the informational obstruction benefits that comes with Invis And for Titan Barricade, it provides 45hp vs Omni's 25% DR(possibly 44% if you're a scumbag). The Barricade is on a cooldown to match Rifts, and the Barricade itself is more susceptible to being broken. The DR from Void Overshields is not active in PvP. I don't like Overshields, but it's more reasonable than where Omni is currently sitting

Except if you get hit first with DR you are at a disadvantage still because you have less health. If the enemy shoots you with a HC first and then you shoot with a HC ... You will lose because they need 2 more shots and you also need 2 more shots... Same with any other non special weapon.

Homie, that's only the case if you politely wait for them to fire a second shot If your ttk is lengthened by that 25% you're at a disadvantage if you and your opponent engage at similar times. And, again, this is on top of all the other benefits provided

Homie, undig your heels, it's okay to be wrong. You literally came to the same conclusion If someone shoots an Omni Hunter, but their ttk that's now been adjusted for the DR is greater than the Omni Hunter's optimal ttk, the person shooting the Omni Hunter is at a disadvantage If an Omni Hunter shoots a target, before that target can shoot them, then the Omni Hunter is at an advantage because they already have the first shot in the firefight There's nothing to argue with those two statements, that's just how Omni works. Either way, last post on this particular thread

Lmao of they are Omni they can't shoot, they loose the ability to -blam!- and have Dr, you hate the invise surprise mofo, Omni literally offers 1 extra bullet to kill and can tank least fire rate fusions snipers and shorties. Literally 45 hp more, smh. Let's go private matches I'll prove it.
