Last word nerf is too much
Hi Bungie,
If last word get hurt in accuracy and damage drop off this is a problem
The damage buff they ve got was actually good since it mitigated the dmg drop off
But let s be honest this is meant to be a anti ape show stopper but only if you aim right i.e head shot. This gun has a skill gap so why nerf accuraccy ?

It's still an anti ape showstopper, but it definitely requires some actual positioning around corners to duel other primaries as it has before. Kinda prefer it that way, tbh. As much as I hated dying to it in D1, I really love this weapon and think it's one of Destiny's most iconic.

1 返信Agreed. It didn’t deserve the range nerf. Last Word is an exotic (Suppose to be S-Tier). It’s a gun that excels at up close engagements and that’s ALL it’s good at is that. I believe before the nerf is had a damage falloff at 17m, now 14(which is -blam!- stupid). Before the nerf if I’d play against a good Multimach that didn’t have damage falloff anywhere between 20-23 meters I lose over 70% of the time. Please go watch Sir D’s video “Destiny 2 PVP Might Be Doomed and this is why” Last Word vs Multimach 12m: Last Word won 18-12 14m: Multimach won 16-14 16m: Multimach won 22-8 The Destiny community just uses the word “broken, OP, Oppressive” way to loosely.

35 通の返信It's not enough. You controller players shouldn't have any weapons auto aiming for you and you certainly shouldn't be crying cuz the most broken weapon in the game gets half the nerf it deserves.

18 通の返信“The damage BUG was a good thing because it mitigated the damage falloff” You know how nerfs work right? They needed the range for a reason. It’s a free kill. EVERYTIME. It needed to be nerfed. Saw about 1-2 players each close/medium range map using it yesterday. They did fine.

3 通の返信I don't know. I tested it after the nerf and it felt virtually no different in the accuracy department. 3 and 4 tap kills almost exclusively. I usually only fire a 5th shot when the latency makes me think the last one missed.

They need to put the dam/ accuracy back up and slow the fire rate just a hair. I’m trying to recall the last words counterpart from destiny 1 that hit harder. It’s exactly what it needs.

So in the end what you saying amounts to "It no longer aims for me", its ok though some PC players voiced the same dislike when DMT was nerf'd.

3 通の返信It’s was an easy to use crutch weapon with the hit box the size of the Empire State Building. It needed a nerf. It was broken on controller. It didn’t take skill.
