That because Bungie against all they say doesn't know how to listen to the community. They feel it's their game and they know best. Which they have for years shown they haven't. But after years of complaining maybe its the community that has gotten it wrong? After all Bungie has made truck loads of money so what wrong could they have done?

But they do listen to the community. A select few members of it anyway. You think they’re going to listen to regular players when there are streamers giving them ideas? Streamers have a following of mindless sheep that support their ridiculous ideas. These ideas are given to bungie and bungie listen. It’s a good arrangement, bungie keep adding artificial grind and difficulty to keep people playing, and streamers keep advertising the game for free while keeping regular players away from certain content You as a regular player have nothing to offer bungie so they will never listen to you. Except maybe if you’re a black trans lesbian with depression because your state has banned you from getting an abortion. Then they might listen to you if they can write an article about how supportive they are

I mean look at how they do things. People complain about fusion riffles and they nerf shot gun sliding, they introduced two absolutely broken exotic linear fusion riffles. They add insane damage reduction to everything. Over shields on over shields abilities on abilities... But wait they wanted to make abilities less prevalent? And the list goes on.
