A marathon is just as valid a sport as a sprint. You're still getting your 7 wins just over a larger amount of overall games. If you're skilled the reward is you get the loot faster and more often. This method doesn't take anything away from you, it just gives more to others.

But if the sport is called marathon, you need to run the full marathon. That's just it. I don't care if more people get adept loot. Maybe they'll finally learn it isn't bloody worth it. The entire problem is that low-skilled crybabies keep asking for shortcuts.

If someone had to spend 100 games to get 7 wins to get 1 adept in a weekend because they're low skilled then I wouldn't say that's crying for shortcuts. If anything they're playing more trials than the people who can just go 7-0, grab an adept then flee the mode when flawless pool goes live.

You do have a point, but you have to consider that the reason people flee the mode is precisely because the flawless pool prevents them from grinding the adept loot for better rolls. Currently, the pools are that exact shortcut people have been crying for, and it comes at the expense of the replayability of the mode. Even if you would remove the flawless pool in this idea of yours and place it only on that specific card you'd have to buy, you're placing cosmetics in the top 1% regardless which will just be the next thing your casual 0.2KD Andy will complain about not being able to get.

Yeah valid points, but the same argument can be made over eververse. Adepts are actual in game content. Sure they're not particularly different, I've got and used most of them, but they are actual in game stat and damage effecting content, no matter how small. Cosmetics are exactly that, cosmetic. Tonnes of stuff in eververse is silver only and whilst people generally dislike that it gets nowhere near the discussion that trials and in particular adept loot gets. 0.2kd PVE Andy doesn't get his flashy emblem is different than 0.2kd PVE Andy cannot put adept big ones on his aisha's because he played 300 games this weekend but 7 of them weren't in a row.
