I let my post master overflow and just lost 9 ascendant shards and 4 alloys, it's ridiculous that I couldn't have just moved them to the vault in the first place or had just been allowed to carry more! What is the point of this Bungie?!

1 返信If they were just collecting dust in your postmaster, then why does it matter if they were deleted? The postmaster isn’t an extra vault.

Sweet Lew 88により編集済み: 7/20/2022 3:13:48 PMIf you're not using them, why do you need so many? Bungie uses this cap to slow people down. If you're going to use the postmaster to bypass this choke point, you need to monitor your own postmaster, it's not meant as storage....

Had this happen to me a few days ago. Lost 10 golf balls, 8 Alloy and a stack of Enhancement Prisms. Very annoying, but nothing we can do about it until Bungie decides to sell us the ability to lock items in the post so they don't get lost.

God forbid people stockpile resources. That might negatively affect Bungie's playtime metri- UUUHHH I mean, it might negatively impact your experience as a player of course. Bungie wants what's best for you!
Buy Silver.
6 通の返信You were only in a patrol, and you lost your stuff because of poor inventory management. Questions to ask yourself to help you from repeating your mistake. What activity am I running? Do I really need 10 of each item slot on me, whilst running said activity? Is my postmaster full of garbage? If I have abundance of materials I am currently not using, do I need them? Maybe this could help you. Maybe not. Good luck with “your problem”.

4 通の返信To stop people from hoarding resources between major expansions. You already know players would stockpile tons of golf balls and alloys right before Lightfall if they were able to.

Because they think it'll make you spend them. They want us to have to make hard choices because they think that adds some value to the experience. Problem is, the investment level. If you're the kind of player who can hit inventory cap limits, you don't really need to make choices like that, you've already got good gear, etc. The valley between the haves and have-nots is wiiiiiiide in this game.

1 返信I feel like a system where we could downgrade materials would help this Now I've never had more than 5 ascendant shards at a time but that's just cause I don't Olay enough to do gms, normally get to power during the last week Anyway what I'm saying is like a ascendant shard cost 10 prism or whatever is called what, I mix them up So let us turn in a ascendant shard for 6 or 8 prisms as I feel like if it gave the exact same amount would be odd since it didn't cost you anything to get besides time playing the game So you could downgrade a ascendant shard all the way down to the first shard which seem to have a lot bigger stack amount Idk what that is, I know I've had a stack above 200 at once

I feel for you. Remember that DIM has farming mode so you can prevent things going to post master. I know this is hard but I had a similar problem a few seasons ago- you just have to make a build and decide in advance what you will do with the ascendant shards. You can also MW an exotic for 3 shards and get back 1- so worst case scenario that is how you can store shards in the vault.

The game doesn’t have a real economy system, so you’re asking the wrong question. Dig deeper to find the answers, but when it’s all said and done, only Bungie knows the truth and you should know by now, good luck with that one.

I assume it’s one of two things. Either it has to do with a memory limit on our inventory screen, because of either the engine or to keep the game running on old hardware. Or it is to prevent you from hoarding, to create situations where you finally want to use them, you use them, and now need to grind for more because you seem close to running out.
