I just got an electric guitar and need some suggestions on an amp and pedals that sound great and aren’t super expensive.
My favorite guitarist is the Edge and I’d like to try focusing on recreating his sound so more specifically for the pedals if anyone knows a good analog delay pedal they’d recommend that would be helpful in narrowing the list down

I would say Boss Katana. It sounds great has good effects and is made by boss so the quality is solid. Plus it can achieve all sorts of tones if you want to venture out and try some new tones. I would highly advocate looking second hand as you can find some gems for cheap.

2 通の返信I don't know who that guitarist is or what they sound like, but I run with a Blackstar ID:30 TVP amp (~$300) and a Digitech Death Metal pedal (~$60).

Edge used a lot of delay and chorus to get that very wet, echo-ey sound. That very heavily processed sound was very popular in the 1980s. With Edge and Andy Summers (The Police) being two of the best-known users of it.

Trust me, i’ve known so many people who have given up after buying the most expensive stuff because they didn’t focus on skill rather than sound.

Bheringer vintage delay pedal is $25. As long as you remember that it’s made of plastic and not metal like other pedals, it’ll serve you very well. If you’re ok with breaking the bank, Boss has some delay pedals that you can get, but they are $70+. If you’re looking for a good “starter amp,” Positive Grid’s spark mini is an SSD amp that has Bluetooth connectivity for an app. The app allows the amp to simulate all kinds of effects pedals (I think). It’s $230 on Amazon.

1 返信In all seriousness Squire is the best cheap brand out there for amps. They are made by Fender but they are affordable and not to bad.

2 通の返信I mean personally if I am out collecting rocks I find hunting Jade-stone to be pretty cool.

3 通の返信Personally I like the live action Jumanji. But the new Black Adam movie looks good too. We were talking about Dwayne"the Rock" Johnson, right?
