I saw a post somewhere, where some guy tracked his quick play map rotation for like 500 games and then calculated the probabilities. The sample size was large enough that it’s probably reasonable to conclude that Vostok, eternity and disjunction are weighted a lot stronger for coming up in the rotation than other maps. Bungie obviously weighted them higher because they were more recently implemented into the game. They’re just incapable of realizing that the weightings on them are too high. Also, that post I read found javelin came up like twice in 80 games or something. Javelin is often considered one of the more favourite maps by most players. This is kind of typical of bungie - keeping things players want more out of players’ reach so that they keep on playing and playing and feel a sense of rush when they finally get what they’re looking for.
