But it highlights the GLARING issue of actual matchmaking and complete lack there of.
Lets be real. Going up against a 'random' team of unbroken and flawless, whilst being matched with people grinding for armour and weapons is not matchmaking.
Matchmaking is balancing a team with statistics and ability. ATM its honestly a roulette of nonsense usually resulting in being very overmatched.
Freelancing is a great addition. But lets bring in a version of skill and connection based matchmaking to even teams up and not have it so constantly lopsided to one team. It's painfully obvious with standard crucible that matchmaking is completely non existent, which is fine. It's just Crucible. But to advertise Trials as the top tier end game of PVP and have ZERO matchmaking feels like a huge contradiction to itself.

I agree. I would enjoy Freelance Trials a lot more if they removed the lottery aspect. The outcome of so many matches is determined by the random way players are split into 2 teams, rather than how people perform in the actual match. I’ve never been Flawless but I have got to 6 wins. Didn’t do anything different in those 6 wins, didn’t earn those 6 wins - it was all down to how the teams got divided.

When it works a certain way (which is not the way it worked the last two of last season for me, magically) and I go flawless multiple times I find myself thinking that of course trials can't always work like this. It should sometimes, but its obvious to me that it can't be like that all the time when I'm winning. I wonder if people that play on teams think the same when they are repeatedly going flawless by playing teams of mismatched solos. No I don't.

5 通の返信Ya'll want freelance in trials this is it... Trials will never be sbmm or have any pairing that you want. Sweats don't get to pick and choose so you don't either. Enjoy what you asked for in trials.
