I was just wondering, in this world are we a collective unit? Or are we just the main characters in our own worlds, and is everyone else just a NPC?

1 返信That mentality is also known as ''protagonist syndrome''. Often used to describe a person who sees themselves as better than everyone else and who shows no respect for others who they may see as the ''npcs''. I personally like to refer to these people as ''assholes''.

1 返信It’s a game of Sims but the child left their mom’s iPhone inside the couch so we’re all just left to do what we want as no player will ever find us… until the phone runs out of battery.

1 返信I don't know, but when my main character gets enough money, I'll buy the rights to rename the sandwich into Bread Oreo

4 通の返信Better question: what kind of NPC are you? Are you an essential character that can only be killed by scripted events? Or are you the type that can be killed by lightening indoors on a sunny day because the game is just that buggy.

6 通の返信We’re all background characters. So far removed from the story we don’t even know the protagonist’s name, and they don’t know ours. All of us are insignificant nobodies.

1 返信Me, obviously. Think about it. I disappear for weeks or months at a time because I'm on amazing adventures, and when I do show up, it's to spout bullshit and words of wisdom I thought of.
