These changes to things like airborne effectiveness stats and seevral other pvp changes just feel so messy and unnecessary, making more complex systems to build into does not help build crafting at all, you feel very restricted in what you can do as a player to enjoy your pvp experience. Aiborne stats are all way too low even when you build into it, I still can't get over 60 AE if I'm wearing lucky pants put and icarus on, and use something like pali, it still falls short. the fluid movement and movement playstyles that were really cool about destiny 2 pvp are just non existent now. Everyone is just playing flat footed with pulse rifles or long range weapons in the back of the map. About 80% of my games don't even end at someone getting to 150 because of this too. I just don't even feel like playing pvp anymore because of this and the game even for that matter. I would revert back to the old system and maybe restart from there, or have something like armor mods that can increase your airborne stat as well. Please consider changing this bungie.

This is part of a wider problem. Bungie have added complexity but not depth. For example, Diablo is deep but I picked it up after never playing it before. Destiny 2 I couldn’t get back into despite playing it and D1 for well over 2K hours. It’s just bewildering. If I felt that I can only imagine what new players feel.

48 通の返信It's even messier since void 3.0 was released... This game has become unbearably annoying. The cheese is so bad. There are so many Cronus cheaters and so many overshield spammers it's insane. PvP matchmaking is trash. People with laggy internet are at an advantage. Bungie needs to stop working on eververse and need to start working on the game.

2 通の返信This is what happens when complainers get there way. This pvp is the community's doing. Stop complaining about everything that kills you or things you don't and can't have. D1 Y1-taken king was the best and most fun destiny has every been with exception of forsaken and that era. They all had one thing in common and thats freedom. The current destiny is just streamer and s scrub paradise.

No not really a mess. It's the status quo....Austringer and Hawkmoon with Jotunn and Hunters speed. Bugger everything else IMO. If you want change from the meta, I'd start there. Up until now, I'm happy going against it LOL....and getting whacked repeatedly 🤣 But it's in game and I am happy fighting against the pain. Just me Guardian

2 通の返信Yup. That's why D2 isn't my main game anymore. My gameplay loop used to be "get pve stuff done, get the god rolls i want, then hop into pvp for the rest of the season since pve gets dry 2 weeks into a season". Now, with pvp being abandoned for 4 years and being completely trash with the ability spam sandbox and terrible decisions and nerfs to everything fun (i.e. in air accuracy etc.), my gameplay loop is: "Do chores on tuesday reset in the most eficient and least time consuming way possible, see you next tuesday".

11 通の返信This is the worst PvP has ever been in destiny. It feels like it was back when cheaters were rampant on PC. Flinch is broken isnt a thing anymore and pulse rifles are broken. You nerf Desperado but Piece of Mind is just Desperado all the time. Lanza posted a video of how sniper flinch isn't a thing anymore. Bungie you went backward with PvP. Airborne has ruined the game. Solar hunters have wormhusk no matter the exotic they choose. As you wont touch the game till later this season i see a large player base leaving this game till next season.

2 通の返信They (bungie) isn’t dedicating anything to improve the experience, not because they are clueless but because they are building something else. I would imagine they probably have 3-5 people working on pvp

PVP mains: We just want to nerf the ability spam and have gunplay be the way to win Also PVP mains: I should be able to jump 300 feet, do a 360 spin while over you, and get a head shot with a pistol. I gots skills.......

4 通の返信Its hard to believe that people played from the air so much before that they would consider the AE changes to be PvP's biggest current problem.

1 返信Mega Kranusにより編集済み: 6/18/2022 1:58:07 AMI get more kills just holding ADS and bot walking than I do using the movement tech I've spent years practicing. Could get a similar experience in R6S except my bullets would always go where I -blam!- aim
-
A mess is the most Destiny PvP thing ever. From a TLW getting bonus damage while ADS (even though the perk says must be from the hip), to the accuracy ghost bullets (not just in the air, on the ground permanently), to viking funeral firebolts lasting eternity, all the way to D2's graviton lance meta, it's always been a mess.

The way I see it is that you shouldn't be relying so much on Airborne combat. It's something you do when the time calls for it. I can get a decent amount of kills while airborne hip firing with a hand cannon or sidearm. Even if Bungie gave us more ways of building into, the trades would likely be a deal breaker.

9 通の返信It’s way to ability heavy, probably more so now than it ever has. It’s funny how Bungie wanted to put more emphasis on gun play but can never deliver. They really have no clue what they’re doing.

NerdslayerNo1により編集済み: 6/18/2022 7:30:06 AMI'm a pvp main. I pretty much only played pve to get a usable pvp gun. Then i played a lot of comp or regular 6v6. But the neglect, lack of maps, sunsetting, bad crossplay gameplay all made me less interested. I've skipped plenty of dlc cause it didn't do much for pvp. Plus attention went to trials which as a solo player i don't really enjoy. With time my play has tailed off a cliff. i even came back and played to get some patterns for beloved but it's such a ridiculous grind i quit. plus i still have my og beloved. Now my play actually consists of logging into DIM when the rolls change in case there's a god roll. If not i barely play. PVE stopped holding my attention long ago so without pvp my interest isn't there as much.

1 返信They should remove airborne effectiveness unless they want everyone running around using jotun

I don't normally jump in PvP to shoot people in the face. For me I would think that you're less accurate while you're moving. That makes sense. Where is that sweet spot you want where you're jumping around and able to kill somebody?
