Convergence as the Trials map this week shows how out of touch they are with PvP
Convergence is universally hated.
They only had 3 maps for Rift, one of them being Convergence. We had to slog it out on 3 maps for an entire week, playing Convergence a lot of the time.
Here we are in the 2nd Trials weekend of a new season, only 2 weeks after we played Rift with Convergence a lot of the time, and they pick Convergence for Trials?
Didn't they say they were removing maps that people disliked when Witch Queen dropped? Yet Exodus Blue and Convergence are still Trials maps?
When was the last time Javelin was up?
Have we even had Eternity up yet for Trials?
Like out of all these maps, they pick the one we just played for a week straight in Rift, the one that is universally hated? How out of touch can they be?

Yep just well and titan barricade and bubble spam but the worst part is the trash teammates bungie gives you. Nothing is more fun than wasting hours trying get flawless it bungie ruins it with their dogshit MM

1 返信Trials Capture Zone is dogshit. All it does is promote campy play styles. At least one person is using Witherhoard every match and 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 Witherhoard. The problem isn't dodging it; it's an issue when you can just fire it at the zone or anywhere with the decent chance of someone accidently stepping into it in another engagement.

1 返信N on top of that who the hell wanted capture point to progress from trials labs? Wasn’t it unanimously hated?!? Freelance was a success but I’m pretty certain no one wanted capture zone.

1 返信I don’t mind that map. Has rusted lands ever been a trials map in d2? I don’t recall playing trials on it and wouldn’t mind that being the map one weekend

This fusion rifle meta is horible, and the arial ineffectifness makes the game feel horible to. What are they doing to pvp? It was in a bad spot to begin with but these things made it even worse.

2 通の返信Convergence actually has a lot of great lanes of conflict for various weapon use. I don't see a problem with the map. Other than control mode spawn trapping

2 通の返信Willing to see how it flows with Zone Cap. Main reason I hate Convergence is how easily it devolves into camping the bases, so here's hoping the objective helps that But yeah, maybe could've waited for the second Zone mode rotation with how recent IB was
