It is disabled cause it caused a game breaking glitch, which would ruin EVERYONE'S experience.
It is not logical to reenable something that is broken and make everyone suffer, to please all 3 people that would use Anti Barrier Sidearms.

There are 7 likes on the post. How are only three people being pleased here. It's not like Bungie didn't let other game breaking things run on for years. Just disable it in PvP. What's so game breaking about it anyway?

I would rather not have it enabled (for now). It was disabled because it was breaking things like ward of dawn, barricades, and other >>>"barriers"<<<< in the game (and other things besides titan ability's). It was not disabled because side arms were going to be over powered, it was disabled because it was cause issues in various other facets of the game that may ruin the intended experience. something to keep in mind is that bungie.net makes up a very niche portion of the player community and does not always accurately represent what the "majority" thinks. In fact, I think the bnet user population is pretty split. With as much attention as this thread gets to be on the first page, the up-votes have not broken even 100. this is a good indicator that with all the views this thread has gotten, about roughly half agree and disagree. Another good indicator is to visit the official destiny 2 reddit and see whats being discussed there. I have not seen barrier discussed even in the top 20 on reddit yet. I generally look at both to see if a community has a general consensus on something. [b]I cant say whom I learned it from, but a patch for it may be out next week or the one shortly after. [/b]

Re-enable the mod!". << I explained very clearly that I disagreed with that sentiment and the reason as to why. I was even kind enough to also explain how forum activity and up-votes work due to the comment someone made about nth up-votes. If you actually read what I wrote you would have understood that. The lack of reading is not "My" issue, its yours. The only thing you did was interject in a conversation that didn't involve you. (very rudely) might I add. I would be glad to explain my opinion to you in "detail" if your polite about it. Being rude is one very good way to meet the "block" button that over 300+ others have met before you.
