Mayhem is a miserable experience for Warlocks/Titans.
Pretty much as the title suggests.
It’s very much Golden Gun/Blade Barrage Spam.
I get that it’s pretty much the point of the playlist to super spam, but Blade Barage recharges so quick and gets so much armour that you’re lucky to even trade. And golden gun is accurate at ridiculous ranges (see eternity) that again, you’re lucky to even trade.
Doesn’t really help that Locks don’t have access to a single defensive super (Shield/Arc staff) so we have no real way to counter them, cause WoR won’t do the job.
Just a really unfun experience.

3 通の返信Thundercrash. Nova bomb. Pick one. Both are as good as blade barrage and golden gun.

4 通の返信hate n payneにより編集済み: 6/16/2022 11:45:22 AMIt is Mayhem though. Throw Nova Bombs and use Thundercrash. Mayhem is one of the more fun game modes due to the neglect of everything else PVP related for its core. Do not kill the mode because you cannot hack 10 mins of Chaos.

2 通の返信Ok, I love slinging Blade Barrage. It's just so satisfying! But if I want to play cheap, I Nova Bomb. I just sit in a corner and lob them out in the general direction of combat. Somebody's gonna die, sometimes it's a lot of people.

Titans are survivability-centric, and are always survivable. Warlocks are casting-based, and yet can still only cast occasionally in most modes. Mayhem is to me the only PvP mode where Warlocks can really [i]be[/i] Warlocks.....

Idk, I jumped in with Burning Maul earlier this week and generally found myself winning (or at least surviving) more often than not. Even made it at or near the top during some of those games. I even had a good Warlock on the enemy team using top tree Stormcaller, often teleporting out of danger then immediately zapping at the most opportune moments.

Gotta get on voidwalker and abuse volatile rounds with shayura or gnawing hunger. It's so easy to keep it up in mayhem and it's so busted with child that abilities don't matter since you can team wipe with 1 kill pretty much. We're warlocks..play smart not hard

Chuck on Devour & Nova warp, only thing you can't directly counter is Lorely titan in a sunspot. I chucked blink on for titans and either spammed or disengaged Golden gun still one hits but you've got le teleportyness to help out with it Try to use Mayhem as practice for using supers in pvp

1 返信I'm considered a bad player stat wise. yet I found it very easy on my warlock to run through the seasonal challenge as a stormcaller. maybe it's you?

Chaos itself not fun anymore. It was fun when it came back in D2. Yes warlocks had broken novabomb it was fixed and everything was good. But then Bungie decided to "rework" chaos... and ruined it. Now its broken even more, because it's takes to long to full super gauge.

3 通の返信Put on 100 int to boost super regen and maybe give nova warp a shot. Nova bomb isn't all that great but it works. Witherhoard is very good in mayhem considering how busy the mode is. Just be aware of your radar and listen for the supers. If you hear goldie pop don't jump into the open. Also, I tried blade barrage with shards and the super regen isn't as much as it used to be, so that spam was worse before.
