This needs to be fixed as a whole in this game and its getting worse. The RNG in this game is so unfairly abysmal that it forces you to put in so much time with very letting sense of satisfaction or enjoyment of the game. For example: Red border weapons for crafting are too double edged currently, not only do you need to hope you get the right weapon, you need to hope its a red boarder version too, umbral weapon focusing doesn't help this because its too expensive and theres no bad luck protection like in the well spring activity, the only activity that has this system in place. Also, we get this new crafting system, only for the dungeon weapons to be uncraftable, forcing you to waste even more time and on top of that, you get mostly armor that doesn't even get good rolls 90% of the time. Another example is that the exotic sword from the dungeon isn't guaranteed after doing everything to increase its drop rate triumph wise. I've done a solo flawless, master mode completion, and collected the 12 hidden objects throughout the dungeon, all that work and nothing to show for it this reset.
The entire loot system needs an overhaul in my opinion, make more use of the things already in place in other parts of the game. Bad luck protection should be on all red boarders that are craftable. Every weapon drop should have double perks for higher god roll chances, and for dungeon/raid weapons in each raid, there should be a chest to use spoils on to grab as many of the weapons or armor you want like in vow or DSC. It's crazy to me that I've been playing this game since near the start of D1 and we're this far into D2, but the grind still isn't fair or balanced. I think the closest we've come to that was in the menagerie, where you could focus a bunch of super good weapons, their masterwork, and all else with so little cost. As a veteran player who plays this game to a digusting degree, we need more rewards for the grind we put out, and that goes for all players too, casual, veteran, and everything between. I hope this gets traction because I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this kinda stuff.

niliuscofcにより編集済み: 6/20/2022 7:42:32 PMThis season has easily been the most demoralizing season for loot. After one month I have 3 finished seasonal craftable weapons out of 12. I haven't had relevant red border weapon drops in over two weeks. The dungeon rarely drops dungeon weapons let alone seasonal weapons. Seeing a red border on a dungeon drop seasonal weapon is just a myth, something you have heard tale of only. Seasonal weapons means they should be obtainable within the season they are released. They never drop from chest and containment grinding, so the only thing to do is play the couple guaranteed things to get one, hope the RNG is not terrible, and then leave for a week. Please fix this arbitrarily created and not fun issue. Edit: I also want to point out that weapon drops from strike playlists are very, very rare this season. The ghost mod does not increase the drop rate. I believe my record is fourteen strikes without a weapon drop from the end chest. I have reset the strikes vendor twice, and am near 6,000 of the 10,000 points required for the third reset. This is either very bad luck, or yet another stealth nerf.

4 通の返信
This needs to be fixed as a whole in this game and its getting worse.
I'm gonna tell you an eye-opener. They don't fix it because that is their plan all along! 😂😂😂 Keep you grinding endlessly like a Hamster on Wheels! 😂😂😂 You just answered yourself by saying this:
The RNG in this game is so unfairly abysmal that it forces you to put in so much time with very letting sense of satisfaction or enjoyment of the game.
👆That's what they really planned on, to let you waste so much time on pointless things. The dissatisfaction only comes with it as a result. Why?... Because they are desperate. Desperation and Greed have taken over here. This is from a company that complains making content is hard, and yet has the audacity to announce to the world that they have multiple new projects on the pipeline, then continues to pump-out recycled content here over and over for years while letting you run pointless Hamster Wheel grinds endlessly until they drop this broken game. 😂😂😂 They don't see you as a gamer having fun. They see you throwing money at the screen for their minimal work almost lazylike effort and then lock you in a giant Hamster Wheel doing pointless running. Then rinse and repeat! All this while announcing they have multiple newer projects in their hands! In the meantime, pump out recycled old stuff here over and over for years now. They even designed a recyclable bin called the DCV! 😂😂😂 That's what this game has come to. State of the game! 😂😂😂

Yeah at a certain point moment to moment gameplay can't save it. It's week 4 and I feel like I haven't made much progress outside of the story really. I guess I did get the titan exotic helm the other day, but it took 25 runs, roughly 6 mins a piece. So, it took 150 minutes to get an exotic helmet, not very engaging or exciting. By the end of it, I turned the game off. Halfway through the lost sector runs I found myself praying and crossing my fingers every time I opened the chest. I get the whole RNG hamster wheel to keep playing, but sometimes I feel like I'm better off not booting up the game.

First off I want to say you're correct. Destiny is built around a gambling model. Just because you spend money and put in the hours and literally deserve the rewards for your grind you may never get them. The only difference between a casino and destiny is that you're paying with your time. In conclusion the reason why it's more stressful is because I could go play blackjack and lose $200 in 15 minutes and feel like poop, however with destiny that poopy feeling is prolonged for hours due to nonsensical grind. Now that I think about it. The word Grind requires a proper return like a job you get paid for. This is a nonsensical gamble.

I went through about 300 rounds of trials to see what weapons I could get to drop. New I wouldn’t go flawless as I was playing solo and no freelance. Anyway I got 1 weapon which was red bar and also the scout which I already have great rolls on.. Same issue just different to settings and it’s smells like fermented goats milk

definitely not the only one. If I was nodding any harder when reading this, I would've gave myself whiplash lol. the farming in this game has always felt really bad, with some spots darker than others, but this season is like the bermuda triangle of black holes, that just sucks all the fun out of everything.

I kind of disagree. In my quest to "grind" Deepsight Austringers so I can make one, the last one I focused with all the Crown upgrades to be number 5, ended up being the best roll I could make. That's not the only time that's happened either. Not saying the RNG isn't bad, it can be, but right now in some cases it's better than the mechanics put in place to give you what you want. Yes, I know about enhanced perks, nut I don't attach myself to weapons, so by the time I get the upgrades unlocked, I'll have moved onto new guns. Sunsetting is to blame for that mainly.
-
You are talking to the guy who has gotten 15 mini tool red borders so far and only 1 austringer and 3 beloveds. (2 of the beloveds were bought with the upgrade.) Horrible company whichs only intent is to make ppl addicted, therefore spent money in the mtx store and push the engagement numbers to satisfy investors. Bungie is the definition of greed. Capitalism at its best. All the great devs create awesome stuff, just for it to be ruined by the higher ups with timegates, hamster wheel grinds and the ony admirable stuff being put in the mtx store or the paid season pass. If i was working there, i would have left that greed company as soon as Activision ditched them. Can't imagine my awesome creative work being torn apart by some greedy idiots every day. Everything went downhill ever since.

1 返信They need ritual weapons back I don’t mind crafting weapons but they don’t have nothing on what ritual weapons bought to the table.

You're not wrong. Spent two hours last night and another two today doing the legend lost sector on my Titan in an attempt to get the Loreley Splendor but it's not dropping. On the plus side I have enough Precious Scars to open a Millinery Shop. It became so tedious I ended up looking for novel ways to kill my character.

2 通の返信Vanzenにより編集済み: 6/15/2022 7:56:38 AMThe opulent weapon grind is the last straw. Rank 15 w/o a single craftable weapon. How to go from enjoying a game to just plain hating it .... Cant understand Bungie's purpose here
-
Bump. The game is turning into a chore which is unfortunate. Too many RNG barriers for progression had led too many people to be frustrated. It's getting to the point that it's like paying to have a second job and you're right. The rediculous RNG needs to be toned way, WAY down.

1 返信Every weapon should be craftable after the first drop. None of this red border crap, 5 of them for the pattern Get the weapon, level it up, craft it, done
