Need to undo cross save mess up.

I've been playing this game since launch in 2014 and have always been on a console. I tried to cross-save to steam to play and I selected the wrong account and I overwrote everything. I tried to un link the steam account as I can still see my characters on Xbox but I have to wait 43 days before I can because I purchased silver.. Please help ASAP!!! I want to remove the steam link all together and just keep my Xbox. Its seriously stressing me out that Ill lose nearly 8 years of playing this game and achievements and I WILL NOT START OVER.
The amount of anxiety I have right now because I might lose my account is overwhelming and ill be watching everyday for response.
As I appreciate I’ve had a Moderator and someone else reply I would appreciate it if Bungie could reply? I’ve made a twitter to talk @bungiehelp and tweeted them since day 1 and yet to get a response. I don’t play any other game because myself and all my friends are vested in this game. I would appreciate greatly as I feel I am missing out on a lot. Thanks

Please do a search for "Cross save issues" on Bungie.net or the Destiny app to bring up a help guide which covers this. Sorry but Bungie will not remove the timer from buying silver and they won't remove the cooldown period from deactivating cross save before you can reactivate it. Bungie at one time did help but players abused that help so it was removed.

There is no need to create additional threads on this topic, as you already received the correct information in your original thread. As you have been given the correct information, there is no need for a Bungie staff member to respond. You will simply have to wait out the respective timers, and follow the steps already outlined. Please refrain from creating further threads on already answered topics, as that can be viewed as spam, which goes against the CoC.
