Think the Destiny Killer is on its way

Starfield https://youtu.be/fcs0eyZF6ng I'd be a little worried Bungie. But viewed as an incentive to improve Destiny 2... Which if Bungie haven't sorted out : Trash being auto-accumulated - an end to Blue Engrams past cap. Matchmaking in higher content, Master NFs, Quests, Dungeons or the ability to turn it OFF in strikes. PvP matchmaking improvement and SBMM options or cycles beyond just Elimination/Survival. Better droprates for rewards & less grind: NFs, seasonal content, crafting, red borders, less 12x12 perk combo loot ... A UO Saved Appearances selection. A basic buildcrafting Loadouts editor and in-game quick switching. Exact game data, damage numbers and other values available in-game. More, much more. Then it's going to be a very good incentive to jump ship before Lightfall. Especially to a ship that we can apparently build ourselves. ========== Now, I do not think it'll actually kill Destiny 2 which has become a bit of a meme - although some very serious competition would do the world of good - but checking the reveal it does a fair amount of similar Sci-Fi looter-shooter mechanics and Destiny 2 vibes but in a truly next-gen way: better. And it'll be big budget so we can expect extensive content and polish. Whether Bethesda delivers or messes it up is another question. It doesn't look MP at the moment so it won't be directly comparable. But it might deliver so much in other areas for it to be more than enough and a major blockbuster. Out 2023.
