Agreed, it is far too common to have bad luck and make zero progress towards the pinnacle cap after completing several (or even all) available activities.
Its a bad system that can easily leave you feeling like you wasted your time, and instead of playing for fun you are just doing chores to have access to the same activities season after season.

This has absolutely nothing to do with it lol I started the week needing 1 piece on my hunter. Ran every pinnacle in the game ( raid, dungeon and trials included ) and didn’t get it. It’s straight RNG. I’ve been playing since D1 launch. There is no “ way “. There are ways to boost in between pinnacles, but that has absolutely nothing to do with the RNG on 1 pinnacle piece.

Even if they occasionally get unluckily there is still plenty of time to get that stuff elsewhere. Plus you csn always optimise to reduce the impact of rng. Powerfuls and primes still do the job. I've never had any major issues, neither the folks that I play with.

Occasionally? Nahh it's most of the time for me if not always. By now I don't even care bout the pinnacle drops and focus on leveling up at season lunch. It's simple, Bungie needs to create at least some targeted pinnacles.

No fk that out of every pinnicle available i didn't get 5 in slots i needed, hunter was third character for the week

god fking dam man really like just wow my brain actually hurts now don't you think if outa 30+ pinns i claimed across multiple characters if the +1s dropped 1569 i would've noticed? Like fk me another way to tell is prime drops they were 1569 all so not that the multiple was to tell matter highlight your level,look as season pass gear, look at powfuls from vendors, look at exotic reward from vendors, prime engrams. Because i watched every pinn drop 1570. All those ways to tell and you still fk it up....

I was addressing you saying you had 3 slots at 1570 and the rest at 1568 and that somehow made you 1569. It doesn't and you can figure this out yourself by counting using your fingers if you struggle to use to head. With what you said you would be 1568 and 6 out 8 level points. So as I said you would need another 1570 piece or 2 1569 pieces to bump you up to 1569. Maybe next time try not throwing the word dumb around while being oblivious that it's what you are displaying not your intended target

lol nope every pinn did drop at 1570 just not right spot, don't speak nonsense like it's facts i watched every drop Every single one was 1570 all you do is highlight you light level to see and powerful were 1569 making pinns 1570. Like really come here saying some bs like i didn't actively watch each drop and as i mentioned hunter was 3rd character so.... Watched it more then once. Jesus don't post if you don't actually know, did same trick for titan who did hit full 1570 unlike you i know I'm right even the strike pinn that is +1 dropped 1570 all i had to do again is highlight my power level to see or even just open season pass the powers were 1569 making pinns 1570 so thanks for wasting my time like bungie doesn't do that enough. Like did you think at all before posting?when i said they just didn't drop in right slot the they were all 1570 was implied but I'll say it a third time in this response just for you EVERY pinn was 1570.

Absolutely clueless. You said you had all weapons at 1570 then collected the armour from season pass so all your armour was 1568. With that gear on your gear light level is 1568. You would need one armor piece to be at 1570 as well to make your light 1569. Or 2 armour pieces at 1569, that would also make your level 1569. I said nothing else about your drops just corrected the incorrect thing you said about your light level with the gear you mentioned

You require 8 level point to raise your light by 1 level. Having 3 slots at 1570 with the other 5 slots at 1568 makes your gear light level 1568. It's really not that hard to grasp.

We know how the system works dude but when those engrams only drop weapons how are you meant to increase armour power, that's why the system is broken. Theres nothing in-game to guarantee the type of pinnacle you get, the last time we had that was with Hawkmoon, DMT and whisper, you did them missions every week and you got the pinnacle version, so you were garunteed a high power for that exact slot.

The exotic weapons dropped as powerful drops.
