I'd like Freelance every weekend, only on Sunday reset. Thereby also removing Flawless pool. Fair compromise?

Bungo couldn’t organise a decent matchmaking system if they were given a billion dollars and unlimited hours to come up with one! They put flawless players up against players who cant even get a single win on the board in trials! We should have had a solo queue years ago and a better matchmaking system, but instead we still get the same old junk served up for us over and over again…….sad really! Other games have far better systems, yet we still don’t.

If you advocate for this then you're fine with Bungie never fixing their match making. Why you ask? You're advocating to give them a free pass instead of actually acknowledging that PvP has a fundamentally predatory match making system that has consistently failed to yield a net positive experience for a wider group of players. Unfortunately that's sadly the way the cookie will crumble because the freelance / flawless pool supporters although small in population seem to have the loudest voice. The dividing of the playlists maybe a problem. But the match making itself is a bigger problem. Freelance because people can't find a team or can't be bothered to do so? Nope......just have open Match Making. If you want a team that much you'll make the effort to find one. If not play for the loot and forget about the lighthouse. Flawless pools.........where do I begin with this one. A prison to keep the meta addicts locked up inside. The unfortunates who do end up going flawless also put in this prison alongside the rest now isolated from playing with their friends. At the end of the day. I'll play trials again when Bungie overhauls ALL PvP match making. Until then you can all rip each others heads off over the smaller free passes you're willing to give Bungie.

Shouldn't be permanent. Bungie aren't going to split the playervase each week.

Honestly you might not like it. But a majority of the community doenst like freelance I think they found a happy medium. A specialy if you look how the game mode started and what the intend was behind the game mod. I think if they push it over to the freelance for ever catagorie everybody would stop playing it after one flawless per week. I’m happy with the playlist right now. Everybody gets a piece of the pie

I would like to run trials but my friends don’t care for destiny pvp Especially trials where it’s just lane camping Oh well

It would only be a great arena for kd farmer. Let them have freelance and talk about it a year later and see how it went

Freelance permanently would be nice. I’ve managed to go flawless ONCE last trials of last season on my titan but my blueberry sucked so bad. I checked their matches and they were on a losing streak. The match they had me on their team was the only one they won. Don’t even know why I was matchmade with him on my team. It was a 2v3 the whole time. The only good thing about him was that he actually got safe revives. Felt amazing and I even got a trials memento.

LFG 1 week and find 2 people that you think would make decent acquaintances, potential friends, and continue to play with them the following week. Till you're a practiced team. This would be an actionable step with consideration to the reality instead of demanding something they already said they can't make work.

The biggest issue with trials is and always will be the unfair match making and when finding a fireteam you will never find a good honest team. The LFG forums and their unfair requests. I looked on the LFG discord last night and there was a guy looking for someone with a minimum of 2kd who hasn't ever been lighthouse! Freelance gives people who will never find an LFG team willing to help or might not have anyone to play games with a chance. With them retiring unbroken. They could get rid of survival (it sucks and there nothing to gain from playing it at all) all together and just put freelance as a continuous choice. I've been Flawless 30 times total and nearly all of them have been on freelance weekends. There's nothing more annoying for people who cant get a team like me and many more than having to play against free stacks with a clear skill difference. The only people that think freelance is a bad idea are streamers and people who have constant free 3 stacks.
