Or if they cant fix it they could just straight up replace the mod with another anti barrier mod that always worked

Yeah this is pretty unacceptable. The seasonal champion mods are way too limiting as it is.

I was actually looking forward to it and every time I get a artifact point available I try it and nope it's not fixed. They aren't even trying to fix it. I'm so annoyed.

I have tried to assign the mod six times now on all characters and it still will not set. As you say very annoying.

They are too busy fixing all the exploits that help players enjoy their game.

I'd like to ask just how impactful this actually was in pvp to call for it to be disabled across the board. Apparently if you used the barrier mod with a sidearm that had armor piercing rounds it could shoot through bubble and barricade. (Guess it actually did what it's perks suggests huh?) The only video evidence I saw of this bug was a private match full of friends testing it so I can't even be sure that it was very widespread before hand and just how many people would actually use this in their day to day pvp?

It's really annoying that it's still bugged, if the other mods this season were good I wouldn't mind it but I feel forced to use arby for barrier just because barrier pulse is annoying, I just can't wait for it to be fixed so I can use a sidearm along with skyburners oath for lost sectors

If you are unable to buy the mod, keep trying. I tried and after the eighth time it was added to my available mods.

I'm gettting off topic here but can't get an answer from anyone at bungie,the d1 servers are crashing on a regular basis,disconnect s frequently.Many players and i have left many posts over the last few days ,there's no response from bungie or the moderators or anyone really,please bungie can you pay attention to the d1 servers situation,also fix anti-barrier mod please and thank you

There are some absolutely filthy sidearms this season ... Drang with incandescent is just dirty (try the full auto mod too) ... and travelers is always great along with forerunner. Arby is really good ... but if I have to choose using Arby in a MA+ or the Gjallaroopalahorn rocket ... I'm using the Gjalloop ... it's downright nasty, especially in solo encounters. That will almost always be my exotic weapon. Unless it's a super high tier event I'm usually running one of the new solar obnoxious SMG's like Calus. If I need range its Ogma. Overloads are a pain in the richard, so I always mod and equip for that. Plus OL SMG/Auto actually has a debuff that effects ALL mobs ... not just champains ... so use it all the time. Unstop just have a billion HP ... in a group i might not spec for that. Barrier are super annoying ... especially servitors. But if you shoot them down right to not quite half you can usually just Gjallaroopalahorn them into pieces. i would absolutely use AB sidearm ... I'm pretty miffed it isn't working. The bungoverse richards should fix it and just give it to use at 0 cost at this point.
