I actually like Rift.
It's fun and frenetic to me. With this game mode, you're not just doing Control with an extra mechanic.
Seriously, regular IB was just so boring. As stated before, it's nothing but Control with 1 extra mechanic. I was at the point where I pretty much ignored Saladin and just played other stuff.
Heck, I was even playing gambit rather than deal with IB.
In short, if you don't like Rift, then just play Control.

I agree, rift is a lot of fun. But I've noticed that if you spawn on the 'wrong' side of Disjunction then the other team will be able to get to the middle faster. I spawn, run to the middle to peak and there's already 3 snippers that's set up shop there. We got steam rolled cus their side could get to the middle faster :s
