IB "rework" is a MASSIVE flop
"Daily challenges" now take the place of bounties. Remember when YOU, Bungie, said, "play your way?" Complete lie. Now a working person can't have fun with IB on the weekend. This has to be one of the most idiotic decisions of all time. I said in countless posts before, you'll do ANYTHING to get hamsters on that wheel. It couldn't be ANY more obvious than now.
You've made IB something I don't want to do. It was my favorite mode. The new mode isn't fun. Especially when there's a seal that has ridiculous amounts of grinding associated to it. Might as well take away freelance. With Orewing's Spirit,freelance, you won't get the seal. Too many people fighting for the spark. The ONLY thing that gives decent progress.🙄
All in all 0/10 on the rework.

4 通の返信I have yet to find anything truly fun this season. Oh well. Came to the forums to see if maybe I am crazy and it's just me but nope seems like a lot feel the same way... Between the repurposed content we paid to get back again, the bugs, a dungeon we also had to pay for that is mid at best, and the worst rework I have ever seen in a game mode with IB I can say I'm good this season. Ill check off the story beats as they come since I already paid for this crap but this is on me for buying Bungie's mystery box of content for a year only for it to just be a punch in the wiener.

8 通の返信I find myself sitting in the back of the map emoting rather than playing because it’s so utterly boring and the matches end up being runaways. After going down 2-0 I just say screw it I’ll wait it out for my pinnacle lol

Maybe the developers hands were greasy, while they were eating chicken wings counting all our money.... How did this slip through play testing?? Was Ray Charles the Quality Control guy? Money Over Glitches, I guess......

1 返信Omg, people need to stop with the “but bungo said play your way.” crying over every facet of this game. The game was never going to be 100% open or 100% curated to how you want to play. Guess what, to get the pinnacles for playing strikes not only do you have to use a subclass that matches the singe, but you also have to actually play strikes. You can’t “play your way” and get the vanguard pinnacle by playing crucible. Just in case that rant was coming soon too. lol

My favorite part of the rework is when the opposing team is up by one and the spark -blam!- disappears from the match leaving you no choice but to either leave or take the loss 😂 If this is any indication of things to come, "Matter" is hopeless.

Have screenshot to prove it. Disgusted!

I honestly don't understand how they promote "play your own way" and yet have these kinds of "play this way" bounties, quests and challenges. This game is at odds with itself. I don't get how this massive disconnect is deployed into live service. Want to play Stasis or Arc in IB? No. Very frustrating.

The balancing of Rift is terrible. After 20+ games you have teams in freelance just steam rolling others. Points from challenges, emblem, weapons, armor or ornaments don't give enough rep to progress the ranks. I for one am stuck at Hero 1 after three days of playing. Engram rewards are way below power level. This is a half baked game mode. Objectives for Triumphs don't progress enough to complete in a timely manner.

The iron engrams and weapon focus are great - that's where it stops. The games are too long, the guest are super laggy, the games are glitchy, there was actually cheaters in there yesterday, cross play makes people warp the maps, spawns can be gate kept, respawns take too long, respawns you too far away from the goal, repawns will not allow time to reach your base to stop a runner, boring team shooting etc.. Should have just been clash

1 返信The game is starting to feel like one of those tv shows that doesn’t know if it’s going to get another season or be cancelled. The last couple of seasons have the feel of a lower budget, recycled ideas and a smack of desperation in the publicity. The fans see it too when a tv show gets to that point. No matter how much they loved it in the beginning. I tried a few games of IB yesterday. I won’t be trying any more. Didn’t enjoy it.

5 通の返信Gotta tell them how to fix rift. Not enough people telling them how the game mode could be made fun. Us just saying “it sucks” gives the devs no direction g’s. And even if they don’t listen at least you put it out there so that they can’t say they didn’t see it (if you’re going to put anything out there at all that is).
