I disagree, I think rift is alright and would be pretty good if the bugs are fixed and a couple changes are made such as first to 3 instead of 5. The biggest problem with rift so far is that players don’t want an objective based mode, especially in iron banner which a lot of people previously used for quick pinnacles or kd farming.

1 返信Yeah, Rift is in a bad state, and even ignoring that, [b]IB isn’t in a good state[/b] either. Starting with the game mode, it’s a buggy mess. Some of the problems are just jitters from players having to really focus on an objective besides stand in one spot. However, game breaks with the orb despawning, teams perpetually stuck respawning because someone joined at the end of the round, perpetually respawning because someone scored at the last possible second, etc. Disregarding the bugs, being forced to wait the whole 10 seconds is ridiculous.[u] Some leeway in being able to choose to respawn before being forced to do so would be nice, and help some of the stomps[/u]. Speaking of which helping that, maps need a big change. Bannerfall was one of the best of the Rift maps in D1, but movement speed in tandem with respawns make it so the other team could score, before anyone on your team has a chance to respawn. [u]There needs to be separate maps for Rift[/u]. Iron Banner itself still needs work. Updating Saladin with the times is definitely what IB needs. [u]Firstly, the ability to focus engrams is great[/u]. It alleviates the burden of rng, gives players more ways to work towards items like ascendant shards, and makes up for the fact we only have 2 IBs a season now. A new title is appreciated, and [b]a new map, it only took a few years[/b]. Being able to use ornaments to get the extra xp rather than chase an armor set with good stats is great, but this is also bugged to not always work. Furthermore, why remove IB bounties? It seems like a counterproductive complaint, since having an abundance of bounties has been a growing complaint, but IB bounties have always been special since D1. They offer a long term background goal for the week, they give loot as well as xp, and take fireteam kills into account. A similar thing can be said for the IB quest; [u]we finally got a quest that didn’t require tedious tasks for loot, only to find out the loot has been taken away[/u]. We have the 4 weekly challenges now, but you could’ve arguably gotten your bounties done before the number of games required to finish the challenges, depending on your skill or the skill of your team. Lastly, Iron Banner’s biggest flaw, which plagues PvP as a whole, apart from maps, is matchmaking. CBMM v SBMM, I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about how players are divided into teams. [u]That’s right, team balancing in Destiny 2 sucks right now[/u]. Obviously there’s a diverse amount of skill in the Crucible, and I think in a vacuum Bungie is doing a decent job of grouping up different amounts of skill. However, it’s be nice the other two or three people on my skill level weren’t all on the enemy team, while I carry the weak as we tread onto losing another game. This couldn’t be more apparent in Rift, a game mode that not only requires skill, but also a little coordination, which if [i]that[/i] Dreaming City strike is anything to go by, a lot of players can’t do. Couple that with all its other issues, Rift, and by extension the Iron Banana, is in a poor state still.

I like it, my only complaints are team balancing is as bad as ever, it's quite glitchy, disappearing sparks, laggy as hell as P2P always is, and the transmatting over and over again at the end of match glitch is annoying. And the fact that without the pinnacle rewards we are used to, there isn't a whole lot of incentive to play IB.

People just won’t play banner there’ll be a downtick on activity. I did a game, went straight back to control. IB wasn’t meant to be some sweaty spawn kill win fest. Need to be fixing your spawns in general let alone exacerbate it.

Beyond sucks ruined gambit with a rework ruined guardian games as it was buggy now comes a rework of iB that’s made it the worst by a longshot also power level means nothing is straight up stupid your game is a rng grind that means Diddly squat even the new season is bug ridden fix your game greedy devs

Update!!!! After 2 dunks from enemy if in first 1.5 minutes give up...farm revives...dont delay the game. Rarely if ever do games come back in a 0-2 deficit especially if they score in under a minute. Fastest way to get rep and get the hell out if the game mode.

4 通の返信Rift sucks because the majority of the player base doesn't actually know how to play. They like to sit out and camp where it's safe and that doesn't work well. Then when you do get an aggressive team that can play you end up killing the other team and usually can get the rift in before they can respawn and defend.

My 2 cents after 7 games for 2 pinnacles. The rift mode has potential. However. The black screen after each round is not a big thing but just annoying and a waste of time imho. The 10s respawn time is more problematic. Being out of the game for so long and having no chance to help my team often meant the other team just dunked and no way to help defending our base. The biggest issue I perceived was the yet unbalanced matchmaking. First two games - all freelance - we won. Not necessarily my fault but sweats around who killed the enemies. And believe it or not I was able to dunk once the spark. That was fun. This changed with the five other games. Dramatically. Steamrolled nonstop and waiting more time for respawn than playing. That was unfun. So much unfun I decided the last two games after 0:2 score to just sit in my team's spawn area waiting out the game. Of course no help/unfair to my team and utterly frustrating. In the end I think rift could be good/better but it is suffering from the same matchmaking flaws like all other modes. Assuming I will have reached pinnacle PL by the time of second and last IB of this season no more 7 games required.

I find it okay on that big new map which makes revives really important to keep that push going. Can have a really good back and forth on that map. All other maps just don’t play as well imo. Shame but seems game mode designed maps is probably the way to go, instead of trying to shoehorn in on to maps that it just doesn’t fit on.

You claim to listen to the fan base in the opening video to this new era! well kindly explain exactly what fan suggested this -blam!- for iron banner? thats right before you lie NO-ONE did! You're going to be the downfall of your own stupidity! The fact also not a new raid every season shows your complete lack of interest in keeping this game alive and i already know of hundreds if not thousands of players that are dropping your game like a hot coal and that includes you glory boy streamers! Haven't you noticed the severe drop off in twitch, facebook, youtube content of this game you say you love?! You're quickly turning into nothing more than a money grabbing corp and screwing the player base over! YOUR GAME IS BECOMING TO GRINDY FOR -blam!- ALL REWARD! I'll be getting full refund for every $ spent unless things go back to what they were!
