What blows my mind though is that jotuun with its new catalyst is able to scorch targets alongside with sky burners oath, and Prometheus lense but not sunshot? Sunshot is literally what it says…a sun powered weapon shooting explosive rounds to the target but as long as Sunshot has scorch than it can ignite. It would be a very viable option to synergize with your builds. Oh and Ticuus also. What are y’all’s thoughts?

1 返信They don’t already? I haven’t experimented with every solar weapon but isn’t the whole point of elemental damage to apply, you know, elemental damage?

1 返信Or reclassify the proc as an Ignition to synergize with certain Fragments. Every exotic weapon with an emphasis on its element should be adjusted based on the Verbs like they started doing with Void. Unless, like Void, we'll see more of that next season.

4 通の返信I'm just a little disappointed there's no mods in the artifact based on solar 3.0. Like how we had volatile rounds for picking up void wells. Also is it just me, or are solar grenades not working to stun overload champs with the artifact equipped?

2 通の返信I don't understand why there isnt any default interaction with solar weapons. I think any solar weapon should give some stacks of Scorch, depending on what ammo type/if its exotic.

1 返信Want a non exotic, poor man’s sunshot? Grind for a drang with incandescent perk. It will stack scorch unlike sunshot.👍🏼

The explosive shot does enough damage to not need to scorch targets on direct hits. BUT, I do think that [b]the explosions on kills should [/b]apply scorch on targets. That way, higher health targets receive slightly more damage from igniting [i]if[/i] they’re in the middle of some ads.

5 通の返信All weapons need to have their elemental perk intrinsic and always active. Incandescent should be on all solar weapons. Headstone should be on all stasis. Volatile rounds should be on all void. Aside from shield match game, elements served no purpose. They’re just now dipping their toes into making elements actually change the game and make it exciting. But having your element be meaningful being tied to a random perk roll is not where it’s at. They need to just be on the weapons.

5 通の返信Sun shot doesn’t really need any sort of buff. Sure it might feel weird it didn’t get a change but sun shot has never been bad in this game.

This is only the beginning. Notice how Skyburners Oath can scorch targets as well. Also their seems to be a cooldown but weapons that scorch targets can create sunspots for Titans. There is also a new legendary perk for void where defeating a void debuffed target, grants an over-shield and Wavesplitter can now suppress targets. Elemental 3.0 in the long run is gonna be great and I imagine arc 3.0 will too.
