Having only one encounter being a pinnacle is pretty lame. Is it really that big of a problem that I finish the season 10 level treadmill slightly sooner?
Instead I’m just not going to do it at all.

Why would you only save the boss checkpoint? There are certain drops exclusive to certain encounters. But if what you want is specifically from one encounter then yes repeat farm just that. This also includes master with adept. People only saw pinnacle but honestly it's the most trivial part about it.
