1 返信I thought this was one of those joke threads until I read into it. I mostly play Elimination and I used have little respect for good players that use it in PVP. I had to learn to adjust tactics when it shows up in a game, much like with Witherhoard. I don't see them as much in PVP any more. Like many have said it is an easy kill weapon for the novice player. In the hands of a good player it is the equivalent of an exotic rocket from D1 called Truth that had aggressive tracking. They eventually nerfed the tracking on Truth due to complaints. Now in D2 you get this as a secondary with 2 rounds at spawn plus a nice pool of fire on impact. You can dodge it in PVP if you see it coming in time. Maybe a third of the time I see it coming at me through my sniper scope and we trade. Like some other weapons you can add the catalyst and another perk and make it OP. Play with it and see if if fits your style of play.

Also in momentum control for the 75 kills it's pretty useful. You'll die a lot so you'll have ammo to just launch at people.

It is one of the better fusions, tracking if ADS and where the bolt lands leaves a pool of fire and it just got a catalyst, if you complete it you get Cornered (if around enough enemies, gain charge speed) and a new perk called Incandescent (spread scorch debuff on kill, higher tier enemies or Guardians give off a bigger scorch radius)
