I mentioned something similar yesterday after the leak. The best part of the season from what I can tell is the battle pass ornaments. Other than that it’s been overwhelming reuse and reskinning. The aesthetics of the reskinning are cool but it’s still reskinning regardless. And it continues their pattern of putting out that seems substantial when it’s not. It also doesn’t seem like Bungo learned anything from having seasonal activities as public events. My experience has been the opposite of what the two “playlists” are for it. When I wanna do containment I’m loaded into an instance with 1-2 other people who don’t seem too interested in trying. When I load in to explore I get loaded into instances halfway through with 4+ players. I’m hoping the dungeon is good

I could see them reusing assets once in a while like bringing PvP maps back, but this has gotten beyond stupid. It's why I don't bother with the seasons even if whatever content is "free". What makes it worse is all the players defending this, the shop, etc... it's why the lazy work is being produced and Bungie is pushing things in a very poor direction. The main reason they are is because you defenders make it easy for them, so give yourself a hand for not wanting a quality type of game👏👏👏

I’m fine with reused locations but man am I sick of the leviathan we spent the entire first year of D2 there. Bungie has so many other destinations that we haven’t been to in a while that could be repurposed but we keep going back to the Leviathan lmao. Can we blow that thing up already?😂 We could have gone to Venus or the plague lands or something why tf do we keep going back to the Leviathan?

God the narratives that people want to imagine into existence on this forum is genuinely hilarious sometimes. The trailer leaked overnight? It trended on Twitter. Which was the first time that had happened in at least two seasons as far as I know on launch day. And it trended in the middle of the night at that. The launch today? It had more viewers on YouTube and Twitch then the last two seasons did at the same time. The YouTube videos covering the trailer and all of the changes? The ones I saw were well above the 100,000 views mark within hours of being released versus the couple of days that it took before with the last two seasons. And yeah I know that it is extremely fashionable in this community to always dunk on bungee at every possible opportunity, but the numbers show that the decision to hold everything off was a huge success and got way more eyes on the new season way faster than the regular releases have done in the past. That's just reality. Sometimes this community really does just need to swallow its narratives and its pride and admit that Bungie did something correct for once. The silence leading up to this led to far more hype than the usual release. Which led to far more eyes being on the product the day of and I'm willing to bet lead to more day one purchases of the Season then either of the last two seasons.
