Hate to be that guy but... I dont find it hard solo.
It wasnt easy at first, but with a good loadout and a nice power level, i dont break a sweat.
Also note that once you get past the tank section, theres a checkpoint to go back to if you wipe.
Im not bothered by the timer either, just rush on through and remember you dont have to kill every single enemy.
Also, like everyone else said, theres lfg.

Why should I cut out my own personal fun interest for a grenade launcher I will probably never use? The answer is simple, I quit the mission and don't play it again. It's not worth it. Something our dear Axolotl who comments a lot here, doesn't seem to get.

Well, that's exactly what he refuses to do. He doesn't want to put together a loadout that works and he doesn't want to learn from his failures. He fails twice and instead of sucking it up or getting better he throws a tantrum and wants the game to be dumbed down.
