What're your guys thoughts on the trial? I went in thinking there was a small chance Johnny maybe hit her once and he'd likely lose based on that. But after 5 weeks of trial and testimony it seems like he hit her exactly zero times, and definitely no SA.
Also, Heard got absolutely dismantled on cross and Thursday was a very, very bad day for her legal team's chances of winning.

TheArtistにより編集済み: 5/23/2022 12:26:40 PMLook up the testimony of Depp’s forensic psychologist the first week of the trial. Video is on YouTube. She gives a brilliant explanation of what went on. Ms. Heard has “borderline personality disorder”. All the signs and symptoms of it can be heard in how she behaved during the recorded fights. Backed up by Depp’s testimony (his actions kept triggering her disorder) as well as the objective diagnostic tools the forensic psychologist used (more on that in a minute). 1: A personality disorder is a psychiatric disorder usually caused by severe parental abuse/neglect so earlier in life that the personality development either arrests prematurely, or is distorted in such a profound way that it cause the person severe problems in dealing with life and relationships. There are a number of such disorders. 2: Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is one of the most severe of theses disorders and causes the most chaos in the life of the person and those who come into contact/relationship with them. Understandably it’s usually the result of the most severe abuse, that usually starts in infancy. Borderlines are best understood as having their emotional maturation arrest as toddlers. IOW, a borderline is a toddler in the Terrible Two…while running around in an adult body. Like toddlers, borderlines have an extremely fragile sense of self. They bond quickly and with inappropriate intensity to people. Since they have the same inability to manage their emotions and maintain a stable identity/self-image as your average toddler? They respond with severe emotional outbursts (tantrums) when confronted with perceived slightts or potential abandonedment. They can respond with verbal and psychological abuse, and are quite capable of responding with violence. Also they are known to respond efforts at emotional coercion and manipulation in an effort to get their needs met…usually to prevent an attempted abandonment or punish/control someone for an abandonment. Because of the disorder they are chaotic, impulsive and unpredictable. Their reactions and responses to events being WAY out of proportion to what actually occurs. The disorder is more common in women. The recordings show in brutal detail how painful and chaotic trying to have a close relationship with a borderline can be. One showed Heard having a meltdown as if she were dying in response to Depp having changed his mind about going to a party with out her. With all the intensity of a toddler with seperation anxiety. The problem is that Depp’s understandable efforts to get space and allow tempers to cool (especially given his own abuse history and that being how he feels safe) just ratchets up her distress, as it triggers her abandonment fears even more. So the more he tries to pull away to safety and let things cool down, the angrier she gets. The harder she clings, and the more aggressively she pursues and tries to assert control. How others deascribe her is also consistent with BPD. That she’s volatile, difficult to get along with. Manipulative and prone to inappropriate outbursts of anger. Perceptions that her testimony on the stand have done very little to quell. TLDR: I believe Depp. That he is a victim of IPV initiated from Heard… that she was the primary aggressor….and to the extent that he was ever violent with her it was almost certainly in a capacity of self-protection. I also believe that because of her fame, and skills as a professional actress (in conjunction with her personality disorder) she successfully manipulated the media and her mental health caregivers to paint Depp as an abuser and punish him for abandoning her. Because of the current cultural climate (#MeToo) and professionals who were too inclined to believe her version of events because of her fame and beauty, while not taking into account that she is a professional actress. Not sure that Depp will win his case for defamation because as a public figure the standard of proof he has to meet is absurdly high. But I think he’s win the battle to restore his reputation and give the world an insight into the personal hell this damaged woman put him through. I hope he gets help. A healthy person would have never married her, nor stayed with her once the full extent of her illness came to light. The sad part in all this is that I believe we’re looking at two tragically damaged people who probably do love each other. They just aren’t capable of it in anything remotely resembling a healthy manner.

1 返信Just another famous couple who are washing their dirty linen in public whilst the lawyers get rich, the media have their story and the sheep can give their expert analysis/judgement on matters they know nothing about. Good luck to them both!

1 返信It's their family matter so joining the court of public opinion doesn't really intrique me at all. Though the difference in legal team quality is pretty astonishing.

2 通の返信She keeps getting exposed on her seat of lies, wait until sometime next week when her sister is caught for perjury when Jennifer Howell takes the stand, honestly I don't know how AmberTurd isn't already being brought up for perjury.
