Overload champions ruin this game, makes it feel like it’s an utter waste of my time. The instant rapid healing is bullshit and cheap. The -blam!- non-stop ability usage is more bullshit especially when they’re supposed to be stunned. I stunning the enemy to do dps just have it throw nonstop stasis grenades that give it just enough time to instantly recover all its health again. The fact they seem to ignore being stunned and just heal anyways is bullshit. Makes the game feel like an utter waste of time and effort. Doesn’t feel difficult or challenging, just cheap and poorly designed.

Your right. And the "get gudders" that seem to be responding here are living in Stockholm syndrome. Learning to play around mechanics that don't work is not how this should go. Regenerate upon getting stunned or teleporting champions/bosses. Yeah, this game has major problems. Congratulations to the people on here willing to sit through hell. You have more time than people that expect mechanics to work 👏👏👏

16 通の返信Give them a break. Without champions they’d have to take time and create actually challenging activities that don’t require immunity phases and bullet sponges.

1 返信Overload Grenades only works with Void grenades. Use one with a lasting effect like vortex. Suppression Mastery increases the duration. Why are you using Stasis? Season 16 is built around void abilities, you’re missing out on Volatile Flow, Font of Might, Controlled Demolitionist.

3 通の返信I find them quite easy actually, I break shields with grenades, stun with auto rifle and finish them of with a Telesto or Prometheus Lens, and I’m just a solo only player with no friends. No issue doing master nightfalls here The game doesn’t need to be reworked, the players do. Play the game for what it is. With each individual activity you need to be changing your weapons armour and mods to suit. Sure you spend more time in your menus, but game is a lot more fun then. What the really need is a library of saveable load outs, which you can switch before each game mode Another idea is to stop watching the -blam!- YouTubers for how to setup your gear. It’s not always the best way. Their build works for their play style Maybe not yours Experiment, have fun and build what works for you I’ve just set up a ultimate super build running void syphon mods and hard light, royal entry 60-80 orbs per strike/ nightfalls. Endless supers there Ain’t seeing no streamers promoting hard light lol lol Absolute twits they are. The majority of them ruin the game and create a stagnant whinging community ( rant over ) Play the game for what it is and you’ll have a great time Bungee has done well , except for crucible

2 通の返信Are you seriously complaining about champion in legend lost sector and legend NF ? Yea ...look like a skill issue to me Comeback to me after you experience master lost sector and master raid champions

It's honestly infuriating. Seems like the only reliable way to stun Overload champs is with OL grenades and Osteo Strega. If not the above methods then you'll have to fire in burst to set off the overload -blam!-, which works 70% of the time. Anyone saying "Git gud" must have Bungie stock (although Bungie is a privately held company).
-
I agree no matter what that OL champions are the worst. In the current artifact setup I recommend a long range 360 auto like False Promises or Herode-C. And you need crit hits to stun reliably. It's broken anyway and sometimes they just don't react, teleport etc. Bugs.

Overloads do bug out periodically (way more often than the other two champ types combined) but from the sound of it, you might benefit from searching on YouTube for some tips. There are plenty of consistent ways to keep the overloads stunned. It should be better next season when we get any other weapon besides AR/SMG.

Choosing appropriate mods and weapon types will make you wonder why you ever had so much trouble with Champions. Watch videos and study the mod descriptions, and you will have success. You must think about a lost sector as a one-person raid. This is not a strike or a low level Nightfall. It requires planning just as you would prepare for a raid. Champions in other activities are easy to counter because there is more freedom of movement. Prior to writing this post I completed my final Master lost sector in the Dreaming City solo and Flawless. To put this in perspective, I began playing lost sectors only about 2 weeks ago. The weapons I use are the same ones available to anyone -- Krait, Pointed Inquiry, Last Perdition, Ascendancy, Arbalest, etc. You do not need raid weapons, but having the right perks helps a lot.

2 通の返信Pro tip - read up on how to prevent health regen. Primary > stun > heavy > primary > stun > heavy - champ is dead. Or super them after the first stun.

1 返信
Makes the game feel like an utter waste of time and effort.
👆If you are not aware of it yet, that's exactly what the game is all about. A waste!😂😂😂
Doesn’t feel difficult or challenging, just cheap and poorly designed.
👆Again, you nailed it!👍 Creativity is lacking, if there ever was one.😂😂😂 Like you said, they hide wasting time in the disguise of difficulty. Uncreative at all. 😂😂😂

I frigging hate these too! But what I do is this: clear the ads you can first. The worst overload is a captain! You have to limit put yourself where you can line of sight both ends of his teleport. The new krait with overflow is awesome for these guys. Hit the crit and don't let off. If you do he will move again. If you have an overload and other champions I always do unstoppable first, because they chase you, then barriers (servitors shielding overload really sucks) the overload last. Hope this helps.

If Bungie was a developer that cared, I'm sure they would at least attempt to adjust things after how long now that players have been requesting Bungie to adjust them? but this isn't a company that cares about their customers. This is a business that only cares about showing numbers, and the poor quality work with the absurd amount of padded playtime designed in this game and yet to come is 100% proof of that.

I understand what you are saying but I disagree. I think they present a challenge that we need to think about how to resolve. Personally I’ve experimented with a few load outs that make quick work of them… 2 shots with Two Tailed Fox rocket launcher + suppression mod on my armor Or break shields with correct weapon and then run up and use a heavy attack with Falling Guillotine sword + my finisher Sometimes I throw a void grenade + suppression mod on armor or I just smash it with my super if I can spare it at the time. Playing with a plan on how to fight it helps the process go much quicker etc. Works for me just fine. Have a think about a plan of attack and see what kind of difference it makes.
