Im happy about the ironbanner changes. It sounds very promising and im actually exceited about it. The only bad thing is that its only playable twice a season which is a really bad decision. I hope Bungie can rethink it and maybe if possible make it availiable once a month.

Iron Banner rework sounds disappointing, we are supposed to be exited about focusing engrams for old loot, just like the Gambit rework It needed to be like D1, where Saladin has curated God rolls of each weapon and Armor available at certain ranks , which should reset each banner

Yea the only thing im going to do is get the title then leave it alone till they actually make good looking armor. In my personal opinion all the armor just isnt it. Hasnt been good since d1. And ill never guild the title because theres no real good point to do so.

4 通の返信It has to have rewards to chase or there’s no real point . It’s good to level up but once you have hit cap then no point . So many activities are just not worth playing anymore . I’d rather Bungie vault a few more activities and give rewards to chase 🤷🏼♂️

The reason it got reduced to 2 weeks instead of 3 is because there's a title attached to it now and they want to use FOMO to increase play time. That is their whole schtick with this game. Increase play time by any means. So now if you don't get the title the first IB, you will force yourself to play the 2nd one to get the title. Bungie's genius when it comes to this stuff. They really know how to get people to play. There was a leak of a powerpoint presentation at Bungie, and the whole thing was all about play time. Lost Sectors, Nightfalls, etc. The quality of the content didn't matter. It was ALL about how much time people spent in them and how to increase it. That's why the Veles Labrynth lost sector got a bunch of junk put into it. People weren't spending enough time in it so Bungie changed that.

I will be in favor of this. Reason why? Players plays Iron banner Control like it is any modern CoD game. They go capture one zone then rest of the game just defeat other opponents. Once you have a taste and play for any CoD games then you will treat other games like it is CoD. You like playing Halo, then treat it like CoD. You like Destiny 2, treat it play CoD. You like other video games that is point and shoot treat this like CoD. Plain and simple: Capture a zone, defeat opponents, capture zones, with rinse and repeat. I bet when Rift comes out it will be treated like CoD. Grab the ball to drop it and then defeat other players in sight.

5 通の返信Correct me if I am wrong but...if they disable the level advantage...that makes every weapon, regardless of their level, hit the same. If that is right, what would stop the other the players to use the weapons that terrorized pvp a couple pf years ago? With the new special ammo changes...what stops them from.using that unique sniper...revoker? The grenade launcher that shoots rockets? You get the idea.

Bungie will do anything to make less work for themselves, even if it's extremely detrimental to the game. Plus, LL enabled is the only reason IB wasn't plagued with op sunset pinnacle weapons. Now that oasis is gone. Trials was endgame 3v3. IB was endgame 6v6. Now there is no reason to play IB.

1 返信And the game mode "rift" is hot garbage. It's a fun little "party" mode that you enjoy for one or two matches and then you're over it. But hey, i don't enjoy this games pvp at all anymore in general (after maining pvp for years) so who cares.

25 通の返信I think this might kill it off entirely. - Not power-enabled makes it undifferentiated from regular Crucible. - Fans of IB Control are barely going to see that game type. - Four +2 Pinnacles per character degraded to the 16 rank single Pinnacle system. - Only two for an entire Season. These are serious downgrades. Upgraded are the Engram targeting. However, adding a sword and a precision HC whilst removing and nerfing something useful like Multimach is currently one step forward, two steps back.
